We ordered Indo-Chinese food, and it tasted really good. The portion sizes were fair, and the service was good. Our server was friendly and helpful — she let us know in advance which dishes might take longer to prepare, which helped us make better choices. She also served with a genuine smile (something that feels rare in many Edmonton restaurants!) and was attentive to other customers, helping them pick dishes to suit their preferences.
The ambience was pleasant — the tables, chairs, and floors were all clean. The only thing I would have preferred was softer background music, perhaps some lovely Bollywood melodies.
Overall, it was a very nice dining experience.

We recently visited Chatkara by Krishna in downtown Edmonton with my family for lunch, and it was an amazing experience. We ordered three plates of Chana Bhature along with and Paanipoori and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic.
A special mention to the Girl Simran who was Serving us , her service was excellent. She was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Her warm attitude made our family lunch even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Indian food and wonderful service in downtown Edmonton !!!

We recently visited Chatkhara by Krishna and had an amazing experience. Very good Service from Simran she took care of us from starting till the end, she ask how you want the food and specially for the Mango lassi and it was honestly the best one we ever had. We tried mango shakes at many different places, but this one really stood out — rich, smooth, and perfectly sweet. The food was absolutely delicious, full of great flavor and freshness. Highly recommended!

A small, unassuming, kind of hidden eatery. Always love the food here, no matter what is ordered. The servers are also always smiling. Sonika used to make the best chai and now Simran does the same. The prices have gone up slightly from earlier so the online menu and the prices in the restaurant are slightly mismatched. I hope and wish they keep their prices and food quality stable. A good place to relax with friends after work.

Visited this restaurant this morning and ordered 3 masala chais. Unfortunately, the chai had a very odd and unpleasant taste — we barely had a sip before realizing something was off. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, they refused to acknowledge the issue and insisted that “this is how it tastes,” claiming their chef had tried it. We ended up paying the full amount even though we couldn’t drink any of it. Very disappointing experience, both in terms of quality and customer service.

As a vegetarian who LOVES Indian food, this spot was perfect! Knowing I could eat anything off the menu, my friend and I tried something we had never heard of before and it did not disappoint. We had plenty of leftovers to take home and we also shared a small dessert. The chai tea was also fantastic!

I am attaching the credit card transaction in the review. You can verify last 4 digits in your transaction for the date and time..
After 300 reviews I will make sure that I dont post any wrong reviews for any establishment.
We ordered a takeout on the phone around 4pm and wanted to get panner lababdar and daal makhni and we were told they cannot do lababdar at the moment and suggest us to go with methi malai panner instead.So we did that.
After tasting the food it was awful.Daal makhni was extremely watery and under cooked..methi panner was extremely oily.
Both the dishes were made in a rush.
We work in a near building and had heard a lot of good word about this place..but our experience was not same
