When I went at lunchtime Friday with a friend, the place was pretty sparse, so I was initially sus. Nothing wrong with the decor or anything, it was comfortable and spacious, and they had a kiosk up front to order. But when they brought out the blue coconut rice chicken, that’s when I knew this place was a hidden gem.

Portion size was a little on the smaller size but that’s where the complaints end. The container was nicely plated and the little containers of peanuts and fried anchovies thoughtful. The egg was perfect and the sauce was actually spicy (that’s when you know a place is legit here in the Midwest). That chicken – I don’t know how they did it, but the batter and way they prepared it was 10/10. Coconut rice was a great complement. I’ll be taking my SO here next time.

My favorite skyway food whenever I’m downtown. Ordered the Pad Kra Pao and Nasi Lemak, asked for buttermilk sauce in the side and the staff was very friendly. Their homemade Kaya is very authentic and does not have the artificial Pandan taste, so we always get a jar whenever they had it.

I went here for lunch and ordered the PraKaPao dish. It was overly salty, the meat was old like it was reheated in the microwave, the basil was black and the rice was not cooked throughly. I would not recommend this place if your looking for authentic Thai food. Never going here again.

I had the Thai BBQ Chicken (Gai Yang) today. It was freaking delicious. Tons of flavor, it was chicken thigh which was cooked properly with skin on, well marinated. The sauce had a lot of heat and some fish notes, only down side was the rice was a little dry, but other than that, I will be back. Please support this place, they are unique for DT and do a great job. Order as the kiosk at the entrance but I’m sure if you had questions they would be happy to ask them behind the counter.

Food took a little while to prepare and seemed like there was a few mix ups. Coworker ended up getting the wrong meal but it was quickly remade. Prices are ok, get a decent quantity for the price.

Easily one of my best experiences eating southeast asian food in the Twin Cities. We ordered almost everything off the menu (too excited) and we’re happy to report that everything was not just artistically pleasing (and in sustainable packaging!) but so flavorful and packed with authentic spices that made us nostalgic for childhood. Added plus was that the service was excellent – gave us extra sambal and sweet chilli sauce! Now if only you guys were open on the weekends!

I tried their special menu (crispy chicken) and roti canai last week, both of which were so delicious. On a previous visit, I had the Moo ping rice bowl, which stood out as my favorite with its flavorful and tender meat. I also had their Thai tea, which tasted really good. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions, which I could easily split into two meals. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Good spot for a quick lunch in the skyway. We tried the pad kra pao bowl and the chicken satay. The pork was well seasoned and flavorful but the chicken was just okay. I would recommend getting the fried egg instead of the hard boiled. The purple limeade was aggressively purple but surprisingly not too sweet! Overall a healthy meal with good portions at a reasonable price. Service was very friendly!

Maybe not what I think of when I think Thai food but delicious and affordable. In a downtown full of $20 salads, the fresh ingredients and flavorful satay are a tremendous value. I had the Chicken Satay salad and would get it again. I appreciate that their packaging is compostable too. It’s located on the skyway level behind the US bank building, so can be a little confusing to get to if coming from Nicollet mall.

This is our new favorite Thai place! The flavor is so, so good, the prices are unbeatable and the owners are so incredibly kind and accommodating. My favorite is the mooping and kayak toast! Definitely try this place, you won’t be disappointed!
