Small place, big flavor! I went there on a whim and BANG the greatest ever! High recommendation for the Italian Stallion or number 13 I can’t remember the name but it a great balance of salty and a hint of sweet with just-right tartness. Love the Dutch rolls and the sourdough is all local from Truckee. Forget the big chains like Jersey Mike’s they all seem barf-a-rama compared to Mr Pickle. They stack them high totally legit family run shop. Winner

The sweetest lady works here. I went 2 days in a row. She suggested bread for me. Yummy food and awesome portions, I usually eat half and save the rest for later. Had never heard of this place before and figured I would it give it a try, so glad I did.

We had a work order for lunch, and my coworker went in to order. We had ten sandwhiches ordered. There was no rush and we made accommodations to do our best to make it easier for the store to get the orders completed. The people working would not stop making comments about how rude it was that the order was not called in first and how my coworker was standing there so they should give her an apron too so she could help. Great sandwiches, but please work on the customer service as most sandwhich shops won’t be ruined by an impromptu ten sandwhich order at lunch time. We spent around $100 bucks, and don’t deserve to be treated so rudely over ordering sandwhiches at a sandwich shop.

The sandwiches are almost as good as the people making them! The family that owns the business are incredibly kind and make great sandwiches! I haven’t tried the pickles yet, but I will soon! Definitely recommend giving them a shot!

Love this sandwich shop! The food is delicious, for breakfast and lunch. We order for a large group, Kevin and his wife are so accommodating, they will put together anything and everything that we need for a delicious meal. Where is for a wine tasting tour, large picnic even to take on the plan with us!
They cater for the UPS pilots departing from the Reno/Tahoe International airport, so you know they meet the highest of standards. Great place for a lovely meal. We highly recommend them!

Live close by so thought I would stop in and try something different. They close at 4 o’clock we got there at 3:40 and was promptly told by the sandwich maker behind the counter that I would have to have my sandwich to go they are closing. My grandson who has a broken foot with me (7 yrs old)was looking forward to having his sandwich made the way he wanted it. The woman never asked what he wanted on his sandwich. She made the sandwich with just ham and one piece of Swiss no toppings or condiments didn’t even ask. Long story short, terrible customer service would not recommend going there. I am all about supporting local small businesses but this establishment is not worth the effort. I am extremely disappointed and so was my grandson.

Ordered a number 3 and the sandwich maker asked what vegetables and isaid none and got lettuce and peppers. Stay off your phone in your ear and maybe you can hear the order? So, needless to say I’m allergic to the peppers so that sandwich that cost me 10 bucks and I tipped 50% so thanks for no lunch.
