The atmosphere was lovely. There is a whole wall covered with beautiful colourful roses. Excellent service. The food is delectable. Love the mango salad, green curry, egg with prawns and sambal fried rice are just lip-smackingly tasty. A very good place to bring your friends and family. They were so generous to even give us free ice-cream!

Personally I think the Prawn cakes a must to order.
Came for late Lunch with only a few people seated in the restaurant so it was quiet and nice, felt very comfortable. But if full house, I can imagine to be quite noisy.

Food not too bad, we had 10 different dishes, some were hits, some were misses.
Place is not too bad, could do with better ventilation though. I left smelling almost like their kitchen.

I had such an amazing experience at Galangal! The moment I stepped in, the ambience felt warm, cozy, and inviting — perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was the real highlight: every dish was beautifully presented, fragrant, and full of authentic flavours. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into every recipe.
The staff were equally wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always ready with recommendations. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Galangal has definitely earned a spot on my list of favourite places to eat. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good food and great vibes! Will definitely be back again. ️ ️✨

Tried Galangal recently and it was really good. The food was very flavourful and tasted quite authentic. The tom yum soup had the right balance of spicy and sour, and the pad thai was nicely cooked and fragrant. The prawn cakes were crispy and definitely one of the highlights.
The place itself has a nice and cozy vibe, with a pretty floral theme that makes the restaurant feel bright and welcoming. Service was friendly and the food came quite fast even though the place was quite busy.
Overall, a solid spot for Thai food in Bishan. Will definitely come back again.

First time here, now I see why the reviews are so good. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting, and romantic atmosphere, beautifully decorated with flowers, perfect for a meal with family, a date, or friends. Every dish we ordered was delicious. I really appreciated the thoughtful details, like the pre-cut whole fish in the Crispy Fish with Sweet & Sour Sauce, which made sharing so easy, and the deshelled prawns in the tom yum soup.
The desserts, sliced cake and grilled pineapple with ice cream, were the perfect sweet ending, and the Thai teas were refreshing and perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Definitely coming back soon!

First time eating here as we were around the area. Googled and found this place. The place was small yet cosy. Covered with pink walls and flowers. Staff were really friendly and nice. We came on a Sunday night and didn’t have to wait for a table. Didn’t have to wait long for our food too. Bought the prawn fried rice (upsize to share with my daughter), honey garlic chicken and clear tomyum soup noodle. It was good. Total is around $56 inc $8+ service charge and gst. Very impressed with the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Can request for a birthday song. One of the staff gave my daughter a free ice cream and he even went out to say goodbye to her.

Great feast at Galangal! Staffs were really friendly and nice too! My favourite would be the crispy fish with thai chilli sauce! The iced mocha was surprisingly good too! Awesome dinner on a monday blues!!!

The place honestly looks stunning — super floral, cozy, and full of those Instagrammable vibes. It’s got that dreamy, soft pink theme that makes it feel a bit like stepping into a garden café. Definitely a fun spot to chill or catch up with friends.
Food-wise, it’s decent — not bad at all, but don’t expect strong, authentic Thai flavors. not exactly that punchy, authentic Thai taste, but still tasty in its own way. Still, the whole atmosphere and unique decor really make it a special place to dine in.
