Come for the desserts — they might be some of the best you’ll find anywhere. Fireside Bar & Grill has the feel of an old pub or golf course clubhouse. We did have to wait a bit to be seated even though it wasn’t very busy, but once seated the atmosphere was quiet and the music selection was great—just enough to fill the room without being too loud.
The Crab & Shrimp Basket was a highlight. It was served on top of homemade chips that were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The crab bites had a great crunch and paired really well with the aioli, and the cocktail sauce had a nice kick.
The Chicken Parm Sandwich was big, but the chicken itself lacked flavor and was overpowered by the sauce. Toasting the bun a little would add some much-needed texture. The Chicken Salad Sandwich also needed more flavor, though the pretzel bun was a nice touch. The country-style green beans had onions and were heavy on pepper—adding ham or bacon would really make them pop.
The desserts are where this place really separates itself. We tried the coconut cream pie, chocolate pie, and chocolate gateau, and they were outstanding. Simple presentation but packed with flavor, and the pie crust was light and flaky without overpowering the filling.
Our server Kyra was excellent—very professional and attentive. If you visit, try to sit in her section.

Got takeout so atmosphere I can only assume its like it was when I work here in 97. Neil and Patty makes you feel like family. The food reminds me of then so things never change. I recommend everyone to try it once, it wont disappoint! Mr. Sautée

Ohhhh my goodness I can’t wait to come back!!! Loved the ambience of this place. We got the Protein Platter which was absolutely scrumptious. The bison party was grilled to perfection. The kale salad very refreshing. And the cottage cheese was such a great complement to the meal. Of course we had to finish off with a slice of their Italian cake.

Great fish dinner. The fish is flaky and fried golden brown. The fries are quite good as well. My only thing is I felt the portion wasn’t enough. But taste wise it was a real winner. I’ve also had the chicken tenders which are a great meal as well. I’d always get the chicken tenders but the fish is so good i have to get it. Atmosphere is nice and quiet. They have some amazing desserts as well.

This is top notch pub food, plus. The Bison burger is wonderful. The shrimp Alfredo was on point, with some of the best shrimp I have ever eaten. The staff were friendly, and obviously well trained. We were there on a Friday night and got great service!
Update, arrived WAY to close to closing and they waved us in and were super friendly! Can’t say enough good about this friendly neighborhood pub!

First time at restaurant. Tried the sampler with fried mushrooms, potato skins, onion rings, chicken tenders and more, and also had BLT. Everything was perfect. The chicken was super moist, the fried pickles scrunch good, fried mushrooms great. The waitress was so sweet and patient. Never let the drinks get below half full. The prices were great. Their deserts are locally known and ama ong to behold. There must have been more than a dozen pies and cakes. You can buy whoke cakes and pies, walk in. The decor was so honey. And roomy. To just drive by you coukd not believe the expansive rooms and tables and booths. Bathrooms were very very clean.

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible! The hostess and waitresses act like they hate their jobs. No one smiles, and in fact, one of the waitresses was downright rude when seating a family before is. Not welcoming at all! About a month or two ago there was a sweet blonde girl named Maddie who waited on us and she was fabulous! Wish they could all be as great.

First time eating here, ordered a late lunch carry out with a friend. OMG so so good!! The kale salad had a lemony dressing on it with almonds, Parm, brussel sprouts and craisens… delicious! The pita bread had a sundried tomato spread and hummus and the lentil burger patty was so tasty. Seasoned and tasty. I enjoyed my lunch so very much, best lunch I have had since moving here 8 months ago. I will be back!! The dessert case was sexy as all get out, so many pies and cakes and brownies, I wish I had gotten some. Thanks for the exciting lunch ♥️
