First, the positive. Our waiter, I wish I could remember his name, was awesome and attentive.
Now the negative. The food was sub-par. The chips and salsa was pretty good, but the rest was not. With the amount of water that was in my burrito, it was clear that it was frozen and then thawed out, and not very good. The rest of the food was OK, but not worth coming back.

Went for lunch, the food and our server were great. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce and was a bit watery, not the best I’ve eaten, but my meal was great. I had the avocado chicken salad and hubby had the steak chimi.

The food is the usual Americanized Mexican cuisine. I ordered shrimp tacos and they were not what I expected because they had a creamy type of dressing on them.
They were just okay. Another time I ordered the Taco Salad in a flour tortilla bowl and I liked it. Still, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant!

This place was once my favorite place in town. Slowly it has been going downhill and it’s now time to separate the love I once had for this place. It’s sad to say I’ve had enough and most likely won’t return. The food that was once full of flavor and cooked to protection is now plain and flavorless. It’s dry, sauceless, and overall not great. It wasn’t just one item it was all food ordered in my party. It truly saddens me because all of my birthday dinners when asked where I wanted to go, I’d always choose this place no questions asked but now I just can’t do it. I’m heartbroken!!!

Stopped by for a late lunch (3 adults and 2 kids) and we were blown away by the excellent customer service. Our waiter, Alex L. was amazing! He brought us plenty of beans, salsa and chips before our meal and even left a pitcher of water to ensure we wouldn’t run out. The food was super tasty, portions were large and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and excellent customer service. If you are lucky enough to have Alex as your waiter, you will not be disappointed. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome experience. Many thanks Alex!

We came to Garcia’s on New Year’s Eve to enjoy a sit-down dinner with our kids, and unfortunately the experience fell well below what we expected.
We ordered the kids’ meals right away, hoping those would come out first. We asked our server twice about the kids drinks, but they weren’t brought out until another staff member who delivered our food was asked and had to go tell him. When the drinks were finally brought out, the server made a snarky comment about them, which felt unnecessary and awkward.
Most of our food arrived cold, with the exception of the fajitas, which made it seem like our meals were prepared at very different times and left sitting. Cold food was disappointing, especially on a holiday.
There were also several moments where we had to repeatedly ask for basic things. Another uncomfortable interaction occurred when my 16-year-old sister asked for a water refill. Instead of simply bringing one, the server suggested she take one of the little kids’ leftover waters he was asked to clear off the table, which put her in an awkward position.
The server was helpful at times, but the overall experience felt disorganized, uncomfortable, and not very attentive. We were hoping for a relaxed, family-friendly New Year’s Eve dinner, but left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

I loved the fun atmosphere! We had great service and the food was excellent! Since I’m diabetic, I asked if I could switch out the rice and beans for salad. Our server happily made the adjustment.

We’ve been going to Garcias more and more lately. The last few years I feel they’ve struggled a bit, but this year it seems like they are really trying to revamp and breathe life back into the place! They’ve updated their menu, updated staff, and are updating the restaurant. Definitely the best it’s been in a long time. Keep it up!
