Stopped in on Valentine’s Day or maybe the day before on my way to California in the late afternoon. I ordered a few beers and a small sirloin cooked medium rare. It came out PERFECT! The beer was cold and the server/bartender was very attentive, even though she got busy while I was there with several tables that came in. She was a very sweet little older lady, I don’t remember her name.
I was super impressed with their food, and the steak and beers were definitely winners in my view! Thanks Montana Mike’s El Reno!

My husband and I were in town for a horse show and tried to run over there for a quick dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived at 8pm, literally in the dot, they don’t close till 9. There were 10 vehicles in the parking lot, with TONS of empty tables and they refused to let us in, said they weren’t taking any more customers. We said the sign says your open till 9, and she told us it would be an hour wait,, so we couldn’t come in. Don’t get me wrong, I understand not taking new seats in close to closing time because it takes time to move a customer through from start to finish, but an hour is more than enough time. Absolutely horrible way run a business, much less to treat a customer. Couldn’t rate the food, obviously. But I guess I can assume

Staying at local motel, walked over and had a wonderful meal and had a great server, Cloe! Would definitely recommend this place. I had the applewood smoked bacon sirloin. It was delicious. The only slight complaint I had was my salad came out at the same time as my steak.

I had seen mixed reviews about this place so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Boy was that a mistake. I ordered the mile high ribeye medium rare, it came out very rare still so I asked for it to be cooked longer. The waitress then argued with me that it was medium rare and asked if maybe I wanted it cooked medium or medium well. They took it back and brought me back the steak the way it was when they took it back. I just went ahead and started eating the steak and I must say it was one of the worst steaks I have ever eaten in my life, so bad that none of us even finished our steak.

This is the 2nd time ive come here. The first time was a horrible experience. Its been well over a year so we decided to try again.. and yet again.. was horrible. We got sat and it wasnt even busy. The table next to us got sat after we did and had the same waitress. A lady came up and asked if someone got our drinks after sitting for a few and we replied no. She disappeared. Then our waitress came and got the table next to us drinks and appetizer. Still didnt get ours. Finally she showed up to ask us foe our drinks. She brought them back and got one of them wrong at this point I was already annoyed ans he waa thirsty from trick or treating so we left it be. She got the table next to us order then vanished again. Then finally came back to take our order. I FINALLY got to order our appetizer. We placed our order and one was supposed to not have BBQ on the burger. And I was trying to order my son’s as a kids meal without him noticing that it was a kids meal cauae hes autistic and hed be very upset if he didnt think it was a “big boy meal” and the waitress really didn’t catch the hint even though I wrote it in giant text for her to read. We asked for more ranch. Took 15 mins to get the ranch. My husband got beer and he watched it sit at the bar for 20 mins and it was warm. My son’s bun on his burger was literally rock hard like I can knock on it! I really wanted to give Them a 2nd chance and I feel like I wasted almost $85 all of it was just trash.

Traveling through on my route, my steak was not cooked correctly, the bartender went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied took the steak back and brought it back out cooked to perfection, sides were fresh rolls were hot, my margarita was delicious! This place has really gotten better over the past year! I most definitely will be back! Keep up the great work Brittany and Kyle!

After the recommendation from our hotel staff member, we decided to eat at Montana Mike’s.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we had a very pleasant meal. Portions were adequate and the sweet tea was amazing.
I would definitely eat here again.
