My husband and I went for a Valentine’s Day lunch. We rarely eat out so this was a fancy outing. We love the food here! However, we got a call during the meal concerning a family emergency and had to jump up, pay the ticket, and run out. It wasn’t until later that we noticed they overcharged us by $30. That was definitely disappointing.

We love the food here and always get great service. On this one occasion we were enjoying watching a football game that had 10 minutes left on the clock. The restaurant was also closing in ten minutes. They decided to shut the TVs off ten minutes to close… like really? Otherwise great place lol.

Our first time here, and I was super impressed! Great atmosphere, clean environment, great fresh food, but also our server was AMAZING. I don’t say that lightly. I have experience as a waitress, and I’m always gauging service when visiting other places. Our server was Lawrence, and he is by far; I think the best server we have ever had anywhere we have ever eaten. No exaggeration. He was friendly, down to earth, helpful, and really just went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We had never been to a place like this, and he helped us through everything (food recommendations, cooking process, ect,). Additionally, you could see him working hard to keep his section clean throughout the evening. That guy would be such a valued team member to have in any business he works for.
As newbies from out of state, we had a great experience here and also really enjoyed trying some new foods!
Also, I wanted to add that when I was trying to figure out where to eat (driving through from out of state), I had called to get more information. Whoever I spoke with on the phone was also very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and were very informative and polite. This was encouraging and helped when I was trying to pick a place to eat. Thank you, Volcano Korean BBQ, for all-around great service and food. Money well spent!

This place is well worth the money and experience!! Me and my fiancé had an amazing time cooking and eating! Zucchini was on point with the fried rice, sushi and everything else we got! This is a MUST GO place in Amarillo!!

Stopped by on the way to Austin during my road trip. This place is really big and crowded. My server was very friendly. Affordable all you can eat kbbq. Not sure about the meat quality but I don’t expect high quality meat from all you can eat. Thus 5 stars.

Decided to take a chance based on the great reviews and feeling adventurous – happy to say it didnt disappoint! I did bulgogi (x2), chicken, spicy calamari steak, pumpkin, zucchini, pineapple as well as a crunch roll and a cheesy corn appetizer. it was fun to cook it all yourself. Will definitely add to my list of places when traveling through!

We’re from Dallas. We’ll be revisiting Amarillo to visit the volcano. Despite the crowded restaurant, it was very friendly and served food quickly. Everything is delicious and the best quality.

My husband and I really enjoy eating here. The grill on each table makes it fun to cook your own meats and vegetables. They have a large range of meats, vegetables, sushi rolls, sashimi, and delicious sides. They have gluten free options which is important for people with Celiac Disease like myself. There are better sushi places in Amarillo but we go mainly for the “grill your own” dinner experience. The wait staff is great!

First, you get all the appetizers, sushi rolls and Korean BBQ meat(raw) you want to consume, but not to take with you as left overs.
I lean towards spicy and those raw meats are already marinated and ready to grill, and they are delicious! The sushi rolls are more of an American fare, not true Japanese, but the ones we sampled are tasty as well. Just beware that some come in bigger servings. I don’t like to waste, but we kinda ordered too much and I’m feeling a little guilty about it. Our server is a very friendly gentleman. It’s our first time here and he made sure we understand how it works and that we are comfortable with what we are ordering. The best advice I can give? Come on Tuesdays, your wallet will thank you, and you can thank me later. By the way, the pictures I took don’t do justice because we are so busy grilling and having fun, we forgot to take more pictures. Hahaha.
