Feel like we got duped on the price… Came to just over $50 for two entrees a #22 and #28, with a side of guacamole. It was takeout, husband didn’t ask for a receipt and it didn’t really register until back at the motel.
Food was delicious, so yay. But still, confused.

Having lived in Mexico back in the late 70s, I was totally blown away to find generational Mexican cuisine with perfected authentic balanced seasoning in Ocean Shores. What a gem! I had the chicken flautas which practically melted in my mouth and my beloved had the tamal and beef enchilada.
Truly a unique culinary experience that transported us back to the best of times when traveling throughout a country of beautiful people, customs, history, and incredible acheological and natural sites.

Everytime I come to ocean shores this is always a must for my family. Food is delicious and they give great quantity. I only had 2 issues with this place. Reason one: They do add a 20% graduity charge if its 6+ people you come with. Two it seemed understaffed. It took them a while to sit us down. Of course the food takes its time so that isn’t a big issue.

We decided to come here because this place has the best ratings for Mexican food at Ocean Shores.
The food was good, the service sucked. They were not welcoming at all.
Crazy thing, I guess when you order a soda without ice you cannot have a refill unless you pay for a soda twice. If you order soda with ice (which they fill all the way to the top of the cup -which I loved) you can get as many refills as you want.
If you don’t mind grumpy faces and “what do you want” from your waitress, come here.

Three friends and I were in the area and decided to stop for lunch at Los IV Hermanos.
This is a very popular restaurant and wait times of a couple minutes to 10 minutes are not uncommon!
I think the food is worth the wait though. I have been to this restaurant three times over the last few years. Every time I’m in Ocean Shores I usually stop here at least once.
We had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated, not too terribly long. Once we were seated we were promptly waited on by our server and we placed our orders right away.
I ordered the Fajita Burrito with chicken and an iced tea for my beverage. I enjoyed to meal very much. The burrito was filled with chicken and some rice with the usual fajita veggies.
While dining on my meal and talking with my friends I noticed the dessert display card and decided I would order the cheesecake for dessert.
The cheesecake was very nice! My only complaint would be that the blueberry topping was four or five shriveled berries .
Unfortunately, a couple of my friends had some issues with their service. One friend’s meal was supposed to include refried beans and there wasn’t any. When he complained twice he was assured, both times by different staff, that they would check on his beans, neither one of those staff members ever returned. Another friend had asked for another margarita and was never served with the second margarita.
I’m sure those issues were caused by the staff being run ragged by a full house, but it put a blemish on an otherwise enjoyable visit.

Awesome experience! Stopped in for a quick lunch with my family. Food was terrific and the service was great! Very tasty and a good example of traditional Mexican cuisine. Our server was friendly and it had a family business kinda feel which is something I love to help support the local community.

Ordered their steak fajitas for two and this was the best of all Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. There was plenty of steak on the pan where all the other restaurants you had to search for the meat. I will stop by here again on my next trip to Ocean Shores.

Classic small town Mexican dining. Everything was perfect. Homemade tamales, hand made tortillas. The rice and beans were fresh and flavorful. The chicken was moist and spiced just right. I had a simple mango margarita and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

The service was terrible. We ended up leaving before we even got to order.
No one was at the front when we arrived. Not a big deal, we waited. When someone came, it was not the hostess and he said someone would be over soon. He ended up coming back to help us a few minutes later. We got a menu to order to go. When we were ready to order i went up to the counter and the hostess finally showed up about 2 minutes after that. Which was the first time she showed up since we had arrived close to 10 minutes before. By that time, another lady was also waiting to pay her bill. The hostess helped her first without acknowledging me even though Ii was clearly in front of her. When she finished ringing her up, another person had come up to pay. Then she finally ackowledged me and said she’s going to help that other person first ok. Like it was a question as she took their bill and started ringing them up.
We walked out. BTW it was me in my nursing scrubs escorting 4 tribal elders for a day out. Very disrespectful to those beautiful ladies.

I was so happy to hear they have vegan options! They were very friendly making accommodations for my husband and I. The waiter let us know the pinto beans and rice are vegan friendly. I had the spinach enchilada platter and he had the veggie fajitas. Both of our meals were really good. New fave vegan friendly spot in Ocean Shores!
I wanted to update now that I’ve been in Ocean Shores over a year. This place never fails to make me feel welcome even as a vegan. They always get my order right and are very friendly about it. I appreciate it so much. Tonight we brought a group of our vegan friends in who had never been before and they absolutely loved it. The fajitas, enchiladas, and chimichanga are our favorites. The employees are absolutely fantastic also. We love this place!
