Culver’s (Mandan)
Absolutely awesome. Everyone is friendly and attentive. They have the food out in a timely manner. I’ve been here with a large group multiple times. Each time, we are welcomed with great food and service. Three employees have gone above and beyond. These three deserve 5 stars. Aiden (shift manager) Joe (shift manager since 2022) And Renan (Very helpful and kept everything clean) If the owner reads this, those two deserve a raise. This is a fast food restaurant, and they’ve offered to clear tables and refill drinks like we were at a sit down restaurant.
Thank you Culver’s for making eating so much fun!

I’ve been here twice in the past 2 weeks and have been let down both times. The first time I ordered curbside and a team member never came to give me my food. After 10 minutes I went in myself and grabbed it from the shelf.
The second time is when I took this picture. They have terrible accuracy with ingredients. My burger is missing bacon and Grilled onions and they only gave me 4 jalapenos. It’s just sad.
The only redeeming item I got were the cheese curds

The food was fine, they did add onions when I wanted no onions but that’s fine. HOWEVER, the urgency or just general ability to care about their job or customers was NOT there. We watched our order be packed and then handed off from person to person before it made it’s way to us. It’s like they didn’t know what to do with it! There was no communication between the five people standing up front to pack and deliver orders. They eventually put it on a side rack (that wasn’t heated) and we waited another 5 minutes for them to get a juice box for the order. THEN, we went up with a free scoop coupon and asked for a flavor of the day and she asked what toppings I wanted (…whatever comes on the flavor of the day?) and we had 10 scoopie tokens to redeem for a prize. She didn’t know what that was and asked if I was sure I didn’t just want the free kids meal instead of asking someone what the prize was. She eventually got someone to help and we got our prize and then my custard came and it honestly just looked sad, tasted okay, until I discovered a bright red hair in it. I’ve been to different Culvers across the country but this one was not it.

Drive thru order here! 10 star review, night of 16 February 2026. Many thanks to Joe working the front window, he was so kind and welcoming which is such a vital attribute in the service industry. When we come thru town, we always love Culver’s. It hits different when they value you + thats what Culvers does. Portion, price, flavor, atmosphere have always been top knotch. Treat yourself today folks, go w Culvers of Mandan❤️

This is the first Culvers on I-94 heading east… (there’s also one a few miles east of here just south of the Costco) both of the locations offer a great, better, ButterBurger… programmed into the GPS and our planned stop on points east and on the return trips west. We need one of these on the Left Coast… Boise has one, but that’s still 8 hrs from Seattle, closer than this one. The Culver’s in Bismark and Mandan are superb. The first one heading east on I-90 is in Spearfish, it’s not quite as superb as these two in ND, but after hours on the road, still a welcome stop.

Passing through and ordered ahead. Got there a few minutes early and let them know we had arrived… our est ready time came and went… 10 min later my boyfriend went in and they weren’t done with our order. Lobby had a few people, there were many employees, most of which were not doing anything. Got our order wrong… can tell the sides had been sitting a while.. over all disappointing

They need to re-look at their “curdside” option. The workers could care less if there is someone in the curbside pickup. This happens over and over again – they forget about you, the food comes out cold.. Today, we ordered for curbside pickup. We parked and clicked “im here” on the website, and then waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. 5, 10, 20 minutes passing. After about 25 minutes and having seen various cars come and go through the drive through, I decided to call the store and ask where in the world my order was. They asked for the name it was under and then said “uhhh I dont see anything under that name”. I told them that I had been waiting for over 25 minutes. They then said “okay, hold on, I’ll be right back” line goes silent. After about a minute, someone came out and handed our food COLD, with no apologies or anything. I waited on the phone to see if they would come back and say anything, that’s when another worker came onto the phone and said “thanks for calling culvers how can I help you today?” — they clearly thought someone else was calling the restaurant.
If you try to go through the drive through and pick up your curbside order, they tell you they cant and you must go to curbside just for them to forget you (this has happened multiple times). They entire purpose of curbside is to make the whole process more efficient and save everyone time. Clearly this place has it completely backwards. The way it is now helps no one.
This experience has left a poor taste in our mouths and makes us feel unlikely to return to any culvers establishment.
Its embarrassing for Culvers as a whole the way this store runs their curbside pickup.

Staff were all nice and the place was clean. The food was good! My only complaint was the music playing inside. Really corny country talking about sex, drinking, and murder… not a big fan of that, especially since there were kids inside.

Normally love Culver’s and usually all have good quality of food and service. Had a bad stop here. Food was alright but my husband bit into a plastic bag holder in his burger! Not sure what happened there but hopefully they remedy it so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
