The overall service was great! Our waitress was really sweet and funny. The over all atmosphere was a rustic country dinner that’s very welcoming!! The food itself was great! We would come again! The food and drinks are worth the price.

Overall, a 5-star rating because we’ve been coming here for 25 years and have always loved the food. I ordered pickup today: a barnyard buster with toast. I didn’t open the food until I got home, and the toast was put directly into the gravy and was totally ruined. I won’t order takeout again. Just a fair warning because I was super disappointed.

I have only been to a T Jaye’s restaurant twice..I have been missing out..its always McDonald’s, but I see i can get a way more delicious meal by dinning in. Sorry, I didn’t post a picture of my breakfast..I had the same thing at the TJ on Parsons Ave..loved their corn beef hash, the coffee was fresh and hot..and the cornmeal pancakes–sooo good. And my eggs were perfectly scrambled-medium. With everything going up and up– especially at McDonald’s good to have a real breakfast that’s affordable.

Their new cook is on point! Best Barnyard Buster Ive ever had! Waitress was okay, when she wasnt sitting down across the room trying to hook up with some guy the entire time. We also found a long hair wrapped inside of our silverware. Other than that, the food was great!!!

Homey atmosphere. Nice friendly workers. Good home cooked food- had an excellent breakfast- simple but cooked just right- cooked to order. Lol had breakfast, but took a piece of pie to go – coconut cream pie – yum!

Good food and service. It’s a bit like a Big Boys kinda place but better. Servers really go out of their way to ensure all is good. Was pleased with the corned beef hash breakfast. (However, I didn’t like being addressed with “babe.” Especially by a woman 25 years younger than me. That was a first! Hope it’s not a trend like “hun” or the especially odious “sweetheart.”)

I had breakfast here today. This was my Dads favorite restaurant and I haven’t been in since his passing. I decided to stop in for a solo breakfast. The food was great and it still has the same warm and welcoming feeling. My waitress Stephanie was the sweetest ever.

When I arrived, I’d guess there were 9 tables split between both sides.
Sat almost immediately.
Corner booth, with the next 4 booths already sat.
The second booth, just one up from me but sat after me, was immediately approached by a waitress.
She took their drink order, said a few pleasantries then immediately brought drinks to their table.
Never looked my way, never said hello or good morning.
Now about 3 minutes in.
I thought at that point she might step to my table.
WRONG
She proceeded to take their order, now 7-8 minutes had passed, still nobody acknowledged I was even there.
She went back to the waitress area behind the counter where there was at least five additional employees.
I then set the timer for 5 additional minutes.
Nobody came, so I got up.
Told the ladies to enjoy their breakfast, walked to the entrance, smiled, then left.
Looked like great place to start a restaurant.

Needs new wall paper peeling off walls in places. Booths need updating aswell. Carpet.. But good food & Great service!!
