The Granary is a mom and pop locally owned restaurant. The atmosphere is on par with a breakfast and lunch establishment. We sat at the bar and service was excellent. We had the Philly cheesesteak which my Philly born and raised guy totally approved of which is saying a lot. It was on the specials menu. And we had the oriental chicken salad which was decent. Overall it was a pleasant lunch experience and we’d go back next time we are nearby in Bradenton.

The atmosphere is super cozy, and the service was fast and very friendly.
The food was delicious — the plate with eggs, potatoes, and bacon was perfect, well-seasoned, and served hot. The toast with fresh fruits was wonderful, sweet to just the right level!

The portions are generous, the coffee is great, and the overall vibe of the restaurant makes you want to come back again and again.
Definitely one of the best spots for breakfast and lunch in the area! ☕

The Granary Breakfast & Lunch in Lakewood Ranch is a local favorite for hearty, homestyle meals served with a friendly touch. Known for its generous portions, relaxed vibe, and mix of classic breakfast staples and creative twists, it’s the perfect spot to start your day or enjoy a leisurely brunch with friends. We had omelets, avocado toast, pancakes

Every Friday my wife and I go for breakfast. We have found some great places with great service and great food. However to find a place with both of those being 5 star is challenging. This place is it. Amazing food and amazing service. We have been 5x now and the food is always on par. Even the one time we weren’t crazy about what we ordered, the owner took it off the bill and made us feel valued. I can’t say enough about this place. One of the best in the area.

They were very busy on arrival. Despite this the wait for a table was reasonable at 15-20 minutes. We had stared at the menu while waiting and ordered immediately once seated. The food came surprisingly fast, less than 15 minutes from order time. It was fresh, well presented and accurate. The omelet was phenomenal! Not overcooked and dry or greasy per the usual experience at other places. The veggies were perfect with a slight crunch. The pepper jack cheese was just that with a slight bit of a nip unlike the flavorless cheese peddled at Subway. Despite reservations as I’m not fond of the “salad” type innards for sandwiches, I ordered the pick 3 with the Thai Chicken Salad sandwich, mixed leaf salad and Tomato Bail soup. The Thai chicken salad was unexpected in the best of ways, moist, texture (unlike the usual pate style experience) and the best balance of flavors! The tomato basil soup was impressive as they were able to capture and maintain the basil flavor which is not easy or common. The salad was nice sized with homemade croutons. And in all of this the unsung hero is their bread. Absolutely amazing bread! Tried the white, multigrain and honey wheat. Will definitely be visiting again soon!!

Absolutely my go to breakfast and brunch spot in Lakewood Ranch!

The food is always on point!

Karen, her husband and the staff fail to disappoint each visit.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and professionalism is the very least I can say!

Try their catering menu, as a close business member, we use them to provide our trainings with their box lunches and they are always fresh and excellent quality.

I highly recommend The Granary!

Was less than impressed with my first visit to the Granary. Maybe my expectations were too high. The food was just okay – nothing was extraordinary and nothing was bad. Was just average, which was disappointing since the prices are so high, I expected the food the be extraordinary.

My son had French toast, just French toast, which consisted of TWO slices of French toast. Two. No sides, no eggs nothing else. This meal was nearly $12 for two slices of bread. A cup of coffee was over $4. A standard cup of coffee. Not a latte, not anything fancy. Just coffee. Orange juice? Almost $5 a cup, and not an oversized glass or anything. A small mason jar that they called “large”.

The service was not great either. We were seated right away, but our server took forever to even greet us. Then took our drink orders and dashed away instead of letting us finish our order – which we were fully prepared to give all at once. Drinks were dropped and he disappeared again, even though we indicated that we were ready to order. He eventually returned to take our order. Maybe he noticed I was visibly irritated or maybe it was just a coincidence. Food was delivered faster than I expected, based on our experience with our server. A pleasant surprise. Our server not once checked on us during our meal – didn’t ask how the food was, didn’t stop to see if we needed drink refills or anything else, at least not until he noticed other servers were clearing our plates from the table. That’s when he asked to top off my coffee (which I declined). I requested our check, paid and left.

The whole experience left a lot to be desired. I get that prices are higher for lots of things, we still felt our meal was overpriced for what we received.

Great home cooking! Who would say a brunch place would have one of the best hamburgers I’ve tried.
