First time here and I was excited to see Octopus on the menu! I ordered the Pulpo Al Mojo De Ajo
Octopus & mushrooms sautéed in garlic & butter and I was assuming it was going to be a whole octopus as pictured on their menu for the grilled version. The octopus items did lack descriptions (diced, whole, etc) so I made that assumption.

I did enjoy the dish but I would prefer to have more octopus and maybe in larger sizes too. Now I know not to order this dish and will probably get the grilled version.

Got the carnitas and the octopus both were amazing. The carnitas were super flavorful and tender, and the octopus was cooked perfectly (not easy to find done right). Our server was incredibly attentive even though we didn’t catch her name, and the manager was great as well. Solid food and great service definitely coming back

Apparently they had 2 people working in the restaurant so thet decided to leave the bartender, who could barely keep up with drinks at just the bar, to wait on entire bar area by herself with live music to draw a crowd. Food was dry and tasteless. Except for free bean dip, which was passable despite the distinct burnt taste, but i had to dump out my salsa to have something to serve it into. This restaurant can not handle a rush and couldnt even order a second drinks or desert to save experience because the restaurant was overwhelmed. I know why i haven’t been there in year’s.

I should have taken a picture. but thanks to the new management this place is no longer a slop and glop establishment. I had the Acapulco burrito and it was delicious. shrimp, chicken, and beef all cooked wonderfully. moist and tender the way meat should be. the queso sauce on the smothered burrito was delicious and even the rice didn’t taste like something that had been sitting in a pot for hours like it did before the new management/ownership. dos is back!!

I came in with my family. It was my sister’s birthday and we had Priscilla as our server and she was great. She talked to us a lot and asked us lots of questions and told us cute stories and she’s very sweet and very good at her job and she offered to sing happy birthday for my sister that my sister didn’t want the restaurant to sing to her but she did offer and she took time to make sure you were good and taken care of. The food was delicious. I ordered the Al pastor tacos they were delicious. The food is different but better now.

The Margarita was excellent, the chips and hot salsa were excellent. The enchilada and smothered chicken finger was delicious. The Chilli relleno was a little disappointing. I felt there was too much cheese and the coating was kind of soggy. The flavour was good though. Would definitely recommend and would definitely eat here again the next time I’m in Clifton.

Unbelievable! This restaurant is awesome. I’ve came to Clifton a handful of times and each time I do, I’m racing through traffic to try and make it before they close because it’s amazing! Friendly, welcoming staff and food so good you’ll bypass your favorite restaurant for your NEW favorite. Great experience, thank you Dos Hombres.

I know we all know the “old” Dos Hombres, but definitely give this place a chance to be something new and wonderful. It was fast, clean, affordable, with an amazing server named Priscilla!!! In and out within an hour at a nice, sit down restaurant on a Saturday night! Lovely experience all around!
