Food is always consistently hot, fresh, and delicious!! I missed the 4pm cutoff time for lunch specials; that’s worth it. The dinner portions are bigger, of course and a bit more expensive, but great, if you like leftovers. Today, we had the seafood yellow curry, non-fried, the chicken pad thai noodles and president thai bbq beef. All were delicious!! 5 stars highly recommended if you’re in the pasadena area.

President Thai has such a great atmosphere — very authentic Thai vibes and a really pleasant place to dine in. The wait for food was a bit long, but honestly, the ambiance made up for it.
The papaya salad was absolutely the highlight of the meal — hands down one of the best I’ve had. The pineapple fried rice was also really tasty and comforting. As for the grilled pork, it was just okay. I was expecting pork neck (kho moo yang), so maybe I misunderstood the name.
Overall, despite the wait and the one dish that didn’t fully hit, the experience was still amazing. 10/10 — I’d definitely come back.

I just love this restaurant! It is a beautiful, immersive restaurant that feels like you’re stepping out of San Gabriel Valley and into Thailand.
Moreover, the food is fantastic! I switched it up today and instead of getting my go to Pad Sew ew, I opted for the beef and meatball noodle soup. I already love their more traditional dishes, and the noodle soup is just as delicious. It was packed with savory flavor from the noodle to the broth. You know it’s tasty when you slurp every last drop of the soup.
The beef balls are especially delicious and actually reminds me of the Indonesian beef balls I grew up with.
Lastly, if you love dessert or just have a sweet tooth, the Mango Sticky Rice is a must! It is my favorite dessert, and President Thai doesn’t disappoint!

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the SGV area. The last time we went, we got Pad See Ew, yellow curry, and bbq chicken. Parking could be better, but at least there is street parking available.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon after looking up top rated places to eat near the LA Arboretum. Parking was pretty easy to find which was nice.
It was a little busy but because it was just two of us, we were able to get seated right away. The smell coming into the restaurant was amazing and having looked up the menu prior to ordering, I couldn’t wait to taste the food.
I ordered the spicy fried rice with chicken and one order of egg rolls.
Everything was freshly prepared, hot, and satisfying
The serving was so much that I (happily) was able to take home leftovers
I also really appreciated the kind, friendly, and attentive staff working during the visit.
Overall, it was a nice experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area and enjoys good Thai food

Great ambiance, courteous service, everything tasted great!! It can get busy there, I always book a table. This the first time trying the President’s Crab dish and it didn’t disappoint. Another must order is the mango sticky rice dessert, every time we order the rice is nice and warm complemented by tart and sweet mangos.

The greatest Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Everything from the food, decorations, service, and vibe are amazing. Once you enter you are greeted with a warm “Sawatdee Ka” and a smile from the hostess. The menu is extensive with options for everyone. The bass and bbq beef were perfectly cooked and tasted exquisite. It was very busy but they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

The pad see ew here is maybe the best I’ve had. It tasted like something you’d have at someone’s home, and the noodles were perfectly chewy. Definitely get the soup instead of the salad for the side; it has a lovely, slightly sour flavor and I would gladly pay for a whole serving of it. The chicken wasn’t dry and i really enjoyed the wontons on the side. My partner got the panang curry; it has a unique flavor and tastes different than something like an Indian or Japanese curry, and I enjoyed it. For lunch you really can’t beat the deal as well.

I was thoroughly impressed with this Thai restaurant, which we discovered on LA’s list of top eateries. It lived up to its reputation by offering exceptionally tasty dishes. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I visited with my family, and we all enjoyed a variety of plates, each one delightful. While parking can be challenging, it’s worth the wait for a spot. This establishment also serves the best Thai iced tea I’ve ever tasted, with just the right amount of sweetness and rich flavor.

They’re super kind and attentive! Came here for a friends birthday and had a great time celebrating them. They’re super fast with ordering and helping us make decisions along with serving the food. Looking forward to coming back soon! Parking was a bit tough, it’s small right where they are but I saw there was street parking and additional parking around the area.
