Food started out great.. Service was a little slow but it was Valentine’s Day and busy, so I get it. What I don’t understand is why I found A GIANT WOLF SPIDER AND TWO COCKROACHES in my bag of crawfish!!?!! I wish I took a picture but I did show our server and SHE LAUGHED! told me, “that happens sometimes”. If I had found what I did in any other dish… It would be game over. I can appreciate that I’m eating crawfish and grass/ dirt can sometimes be apart of that but actual bugs!? It ruined the remaining two pounds of crawfish I had ordered, which I had to pay full price for because I was never even offered any kind of compensation for their disgusting mistake. I’ll never eat here again.

I wish I had something good to say, about the food. But I just don’t. The pickles were drowning in some nasty brown grease. The food just wasn’t very good. Any of it. The lady waiting on us, was the best part. She was very pleasant and attentive. I just had higher hopes on our pass through, for some crawfish. But everything was just a greasefest.

We were passing by and this cam up. Fried crawfish tail got more breadings than the actual tail, and so salty. Idk if thats a thing in the area, but it’s too salty for me. Gumbo and Etouffee is good. 3 stars overall.

Been to this place many times over the years, this time I stopped by with my friend. Good food, I really like the atmosphere of this place, and my friend also really enjoyed it. The only thing I would have to say was a little disappointing is the meat pie appetizer. I hate to go on a tangent but think it was like three and a half dollars for one meat pie. Just seems like a lot, I feel like for that price you should get two, like I feel I’ve been places where for just an extra buck or two more than that you get a little plate of 4 or 5 mini meat pies, which makes more sense anyway since appetizers are usually to share. Not that I feel gypped or anything, I understood what it said on the menu, just had buyers remorse afterward for what it turned out to be.

We love eating here. I got the stuffed crab and fried shrimp. The shrimp are big and good! My husband ordered the Cajun ribeye and it was huge! It did have allot of fat but still good! We ordered a lb of crawfish on the side and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I added an updated menu to the pics.

Service was great! Food was below par. Worst hush puppies I’ve ever had. Fried shrimp we’re good. Oysters were shriveled up and over cooked. Crawfish pie was deep fried for too long. Prices were reasonable
