The server Chris was great and made sure we were taken care of. Food was great so whoever was cooking Saturday lunchtime did a great job. Atmosphere was clean and friendly. I believe they are making some great changes in order for better experiences and great food.

Listen, I love applebees anywhere else but in Winchester. I live in Winchester sadly, and normally only go to Lexington’s or Richmond’s. I just walked in to get food and stood there for plenty of minutes. There was one table with three people at who also hadn’t gotten their food. Last time I came to applebees I placed a pick up and came after it had been made, of course. I stood there for 15 minutes because the waitress openly admitted to forgetting me, and all the other workers there would walk past me. Most of the time the food is good expect for the few occasions it hasn’t been. But all your waiters and waitresses are usually mean. I had a supervisor come talk to me once because a waitress refused to give me my food all because I can’t eat your jumbo shrimp and asked if I could get a half piece of chicken. I was willing to pay full price btw… and when her supervisor told her to make it, she brought our food and it wasn’t even cooked. The only thing your waitresses and waiters do is charge you guys more money then just having to pay them for all the issues they cause.

All three times we have been to the Winchester Applebee’s, there is always a problem. This time my wife ordered a Caesar salad and when it came to the table the lettuce was brown like when you cut it with a knife
And her chicken tacos and chicken quesadilla was cold. My burger was dry and cold, but the worst of it was the tomato basil soup, it was so cold and thick that I could stand the spoon straight upright. We complained to the manager and she didn’t charge us for the meal because we didn’t eat anything except a few bites of the salad that they replaced. But this is the last time we will visit this location. I don’t blame the server because she was great. I blame the manager and the kitchen staff for not checking the food before it is plated to be served.

Definitely the last time I’m spending money here. This is crazy do yall have to count each and every fry and I’m guessing 12 is the limit. Just wild. Worst experience ever!!!!

Avoid at all cost. Horrible service. We were the only table our waitress had and I had to go find her for everything. Waited 45 minutes on food and it came out cold and dry when there were only 4 occupied tables in the entire place. Plus the place is just dirty, ceiling vents look like they have been spray painted because of the crud build up. Wouldn’t go back to eat for free.

2nd review: Tried to order again on 11/9/25. Again no answer on the phone . Had to go to the restaurant to order. Waited 20 minutes to order and then 30 more for the food. Then they screw up our order and one of us had to do without food. Will not eat here again. They should really consider shutting this place down. We need better restaurants than this in Winchester.

Longer wait on food then expected. Then had to send half our food back. Not cooked and cold.. but I think they was some staff issues. So perhaps just a bad day for this resturant. Overall food was ok. Our server was great, perhaps next time im passing thru ill try eating here again

No one up front took our name to wait for table, we were told being seated was on hold. Our table was sticky. The silverware they brought had food still on it. When we finally recieved our food, my food was cold and nasty. It took almost 45 min to get our food. Our food was over $80. I made a big mistake picking this restaurant to eat at today. I will not be back.

We were there on a Saturday evening and they were very understaffed. Our server was trying to keep up but she was serving the whole end of the building. She done very good for what she had to work with. However, they were also out all three vegetables that were listed as side items. That seems like poor management. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get out. Was not impressive, but maybe it was just a bad day!
