Went with my mom right after my early-morning ECT treatment — I’m always starving afterward, so “The Titanic” omelet felt appropriate. And wow… it delivered. 2200 calories, Zero regrets!
A massive four-egg omelet packed with diced ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, hash browns, and cheddar — topped with a biscuit and sausage gravy. Every bite has a little of everything because they chop it perfectly. No lazy, chunky bites here. Comfort food done right.
The pumpkin pancake (limited time) was also fantastic — more cinnamon than pumpkin, but soft, warm, and perfect with whipped cream (I skipped the syrup).
Mom went the “light” route with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit — she wasn’t a fan of the biscuit, (too dry, floury) and said it didn’t compare to Chick-fil-A’s superior buttery version. My biscuit was fine; the gravy was solid but not standout.
Service was super kind and honest, coffee was meh, but overall? Worth every bite and every calorie.

Overall: 4/5. Good food, friendly, honest staff, bright interior with a nostalgic vibe. I’ll definitely be back — though probably for the Titanic only, and with a nap scheduled right after.
Getting there about 40 mins after they opened for the day, they were far from busy, and by the time I left, there were many more tables sat. Service was decent at the bar. I ordered a cup of coffee, which comes with a carafe and I chose their Nashville Hote Chicken Biscuit with their home style potatoes done with onions, green peppers, and cheese. I wanted to try their sausage gravy, so I asked for aside of that as well.
The potatoes were the first thing I tried and while the cheese was melted on them, the potatoes were lukewarm. There wasn’t much flavor from the addition of the other items, so I only ate a few and then was done with the side item. Next I tried the chicken biscuit. The crown of the biscuit broke as soon as I touched it with my fork and it was somewhat cool, far from fresh and hot, especially for first thing in the morning. The chicken itself was insanely hot, fresh, and the seasoning on it was incredible! Nice and spicy and very tasty, but beware, the thickness of the chicken is that which seems to have been cut in half, far from thick. The breading for the fry was great too. Next, I tried their sausage gravy and it was really basic, nothing flavorful or thick or seasoned about it. Really boring.
Overall – this place has great potential and maybe it does better on other days, but I gave it a try and since I don’t live in this area, I most definitely wouldn’t return when back in town.
Our food came out hot and fresh, and she checked on us at just the right times never rushed, just smooth and natural service. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and actually enjoys creating a great experience for her guests.
The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing as always, but Mackenzie really made the difference. She’s the kind of employee every restaurant needs upbeat, professional, and personable.
If you go to The Big Biscuit, definitely ask for Mackenzie. she’ll take great care of you!
We were pleased with the fast service on a Sunday morning.
We had a party of 5 and got seated and served fast. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food no complaints.
Prices are up everywhere and especially breakfast places but its the only reasonable reason not 5 stars across all
