Stopped by Kabab House on a week night for dinner. There have alot of seating so getting a spot was not an issue. We ordered their chicken seekh kebab and goat biryani along with dum chai. The seekh kebab was flavorful but ive certainly had better. The goat biryani was delicious and the goat pieces would melt in your mouth and it was perfectly marinated meat. I ordered their dum chai but I guess I got the regular chai which tasted a little watered down but was still decent not bad.
Now I will give them 10/10 for their service. So we had asked for spicy goat biryani but apparently they messed it up and made regular so the person stopped by informed us and said they are remaking the spicy goat biryani and would like to compensate for this slow service by offering dessert on the house. While it was not needed, it was certainly appreciated. They got us rasmalai which was good. I have been here before and felt the food during my prior visits was a tad bit better as compared to today.
All in all good food, pocket friendly and great service. The ambience is basic and they have ample parking atleast at night. Would recommend if in the area.

The wait staff was amazing. They helped answer all our questions and helped us differentiate between all the chai tea choices. I loved how authentic this restaurant felt. As I’m not from their culture I cannot say with certainty it is authentic but the food was certainly delicious.
If you’re looking for modern and shiny, this place isn’t for you. They are going through renovations.
The garlic naan was perfect thinness. The samosa chaat was delicious. The chicken Biryani was one of the best I’ve had.

Edit: after looking up my concerns is seems they have only an okay food rating. Likely won’t be back based on my experience and the food rating unless it improves
Having ordered takeout twice I’m surprised that My takeout boxes are fairly smudged and dirty, almost like someone’s using their hands to serve rather than utensils. It was less dirty the second time but still dirty enough to notice. Maybe the biryani is that oily that packing it leads to this outcome but that would make it unique to this restaurant.
Additionally ordered the white chicken karahi and discovered it was packaged without rice. I called to confirm and the woman on the phone said that their dishes are served with rice. When I pointed out mine wasn’t she said “there are three packers so there cannot be a mistake”. Fortunately I can cook rice at home it just meant my takeout was cold by the time I enjoyed it.
The flavor is good and the portions are generous. Online order has 10% off. Had the lamb biryani and it’s got a lot of lamb and a nice balance of flavor. The white chicken karahi was good but felt more like an appetizer. Especially if not served with rice.

We visited to celebrate my birthday with my family, and it was a wonderful dine-in experience. We usually do takeout, but we decided to dine in this time. The ambiance was good. The food was amazing as always, never fails, and the kids especially loved the saffron rice, raita, and puri.
The owner and staff checked in on us multiple times to make sure everything was satisfactory. On our way out, when we thanked him and mentioned that it was my birthday and that we had a great meal, he went out of his way to ask which dessert I liked and personally gifted it to me. Such a thoughtful and memorable experience.

I am visiting from Houston found this kabab house. Clean environment. Very friendly staff. Owner was welcoming. I had iftar buffet with my family. We all had great time and delicious food.

I have been to kabab house couple of times . I have tried their chicken tikka , fish tikka that comes with rice . Super amazing their goat karhai also comes with rice but we had with naan pakistani style .. was superb , gajar ka halwa , is superb .. chicken karhai is decent and halwa puri brunch during weekend is also decent but greasy as ususal . Doodh patti chai is great ! Naan taste good as well !

Super legit place for some of the best Pakistani and Indian food I’ve had in the area. The butter chicken is incredible. The hosts was very friendly and had great recommendations that we tried, especially the chicken kabob. The garlic naan was soft and flavorful. The samosas were big and delicious. It was very busy because it’s Ramadan but it was also a good sign that it’s so popular to be the place to break the fast. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered a chicken Handi with extra gravy. The curry was packed in a flat box ( I mean who does that). Such small qty of chicken. But fully loaded with oil. Super Super extra oil. No flavor as well.
They forgot to add salt during marination. And the chicken was bland- 0 spice . Even after telling them medium spicy. Called to let them know and such cold behavior. Too rude.

We arrived a few minutes past the in-house dining hours, but the hotel owner was incredibly accommodating and still took our order. As always, the food did not disappoint — the Paya, Mutton Biryani, and Peshwari Chicken Handi were outstanding. A must-try spot for anyone in Washington!
