Super nice folks. The place very clean. Staff was very pleasant. They packed my order very carefully making sure the containers didn’t spill. And even provided a box.

I didn’t see the option to leave O stars or I would have. I could go really long and hard on how absolutely HORRIBLE everything we ordered was! I’ll try to keep this as brief as I can. I have no idea what the hell that was that they passed off as short ribs. The beige gooy gravy looked like it had already been digested and thrown up. Terrible! Mac and cheese: the worst I’ve ever had. The cabbage Ang greens were very bland. But that’s not the worst of it. I was told that the young lady who waited on us was the owners daughter. Super nasty and smug attitude like she really believes they are the only restaurant in town! Why he has her out front like that is interesting. Redd Foxx once said “follow an ugly person home and an ugly person will answer the door” I’m just saying. I could go on but I won’t. I just felt very compelled to leave a review which by the way, I have never done before in 71 years. If you are considering eating there, you’ve been warned.

This was the first time visiting and eating at Delicious. My husband and I ordered the small gumbo. It was good not too salty and very hot. It had all of the ingredients we were told it should have and a nice balance portion of the shrimp, crab, and beef sausage. We ate in the restaurant as well it was ok. We ordered some food to go for later. The fried chicken was good along with the spaghetti, greens, rice and gravy, green beans, corn and okra. The only negative is the cashier Maria was not friendly she had an attitude and had a mean look on her face. Overall it was good.

They measure the food before making the plates which I don’t make any sense plus it was disgusting. The spaghetti tasted like spaghettio’s and was watery. No seasoning and to make matters worse my stomach was in excruciating pain I had to go to the bathroom immediately after eating the food. Never again.

The food is decent but the staff here aren’t the brightest ppl. I’d suggest triple confirming pricing and what you order to avoid confusion. I order smothered chops and rice. They charged me two rice and gravy’s plus a smothered pork chop.

Hey you guys so this place is small and gets packed and sometimes have long wait lines I don’t remember seeing a restroom but you can eat outside. I got smothered pork chop was ok the Turkey wings were good and the chicken is OK. If you looking to eat no so bad soul food. They can get pricey but good portions and the Turkey is only sold on Sundays. The parking is very crazy but you can park at Leimert Park and visit the vendors like me Bredazzled and support small business. I had to throw that in there.

I stumbled across this restaurant while visiting California sadly I was asking individuals in the surrounding area about good restaurants and nobody mentioned this spot. The staff was very professional, restaurant was clean and they had plenty to choose from on the menu. This isn’t a dine in restaurant however there’s a few tables outside. The okra soup was delicious. I would recommend the bake chicken, sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas. I tried the lemon cake and banana pudding. I wasn’t crazy about the banana pudding but I’m from the south we make ours in the oven. The food was good however my family would’ve preferred more seasoning.
