Excellent lunch today. Place was busy but we did not have to wait to get a table. I got the beef taco salad and added fresh jalapeños. It was proportioned perfectly with ingredients and just enough for lunch. The other dish was the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans (no cheese on the rice and beans by request. The salsa was spicy good and the chips were crisp.

As much as I LOVE this place, ordering from them online is a Complete FAIL. I ordered my husband the AC Steak and it was completely dry with NO queso on it as specified on their menu. When I called to let them know there was no queso, he tried to tell me that it was mixed in with the rice. Sir, we’re not idiots. We know what queso looks like and taste like. It was completely dry…..there was no queso. My husband added salsa so he can eat it. Totally disappointed.

I recently visited Fiesta Mexicana in Clayton, and overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a lively, colorful decor that definitely adds to the authenticity of the place. It was a nice setting for a casual dinner out.
We started with the street corn as an appetizer, which was really tasty. The corn was grilled to perfection, with a nice balance of seasoning and toppings that gave it a great flavor. It wasn’t too heavy, making it a perfect start to the meal.
For my main course, I went with the ACP Chicken, and I have to say, it was quite good. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and the portion was generous. The cheese sauce over the rice and chicken was creamy and delicious, making it a comforting and satisfying dish. The flavors came together well without being overly spicy, which I personally appreciated.
Service was prompt and friendly, and our server checked in on us several times throughout the meal. If I had any critique, it would be that while everything was enjoyable, the food didn’t stand out as particularly exceptional. That being said, it was a solid meal, and I would definitely come back to try some of their other menu items.
If you’re in the mood for some good, reliable Mexican food in Clayton, Fiesta Mexicana is worth a visit!

Got the 12 oz ribeye with beans and rice. It was around 11:15am. The ribeye was nowhere near 12oz at 3/16 of an inch thick. I would guess around 6oz. The beans and rice were definitely last night’s servings as the rice was clumpy with cold spots. The beans didn’t taste fresh either. They said it was fresh made but I’m no dummy.
