1029 Bar is the place to be any day. Get a cold beer and a serving of lobsters Mac and cheese and it will send you into a comfort zone like no other.
Pull tabs, meat raffle, sports on the TV! This is the place. Spend the whole night or stop by for a drink before the next bar, either way it will hit.

Nice and busy always. Great mix of a crowd! Love all the sexy bras hanging from the ceiling! Lol. Some call this a cop bar as it is frequented by the police. Not ICE, just the Police folks. Gets real busy some nights.

I’ve been coming here and supporting Smack Shack since the food truck days, which is exactly why this is so disappointing. The lobster roll used to be plentiful, flavorful, and worth every bite. Now it’s lackluster, barely has any lobster, and somehow costs twice as much. That’s not inflation – that’s a downgrade.
Clearly not the only one that has noticed this. It feels like a rip-off, plain and simple.
I’ll still come back to 1029 Bar, but I will never order the lobster roll from the Smack Shack restaurant again.

It has been several months since we had been there to have lobster rolls. We were so disappointed Sunday night as it had about a one fourth of what we normally would get in a lobster roll. I’m not sure what the problem was but, again, our group was very disappointed! The clam chowder soup was good!

We couldn’t have had more fun. The have an amazing and vibrant atmosphere. Our server Emma gave every table the best she had to offer. We had so much fun with her. And even as out group got larger she still managed to keep up with requests and jokes we were shouting at her. Now the food. I can’t say this strongly enough. THE LOBSTER IS REAL. THE WINGS ARE SEASONED TO PERFECTION. THE BURGER WAS THICK AND JUICY. AND THE FRENCH FRY SEASONING I WANTED TO TAKE HOME. the drink menu is a little light but they will create whatever mix you want. And they are not stingy with the spirits. I wish I could take this place back to Texas with me.

We stopped in on a Saturday night to grab some food after bowling. Loved the atmosphere and they had a good crowd, but we were able to grab a table in the tented area. The service was fast and friendly, but the Lobster roll I had was the star of the show. Planning another trip in the near future and will try to squeeze in some Saturday afternoon bingo while we’re at it.

Can you get a little loud, especially on game days and after happy hour in the evening/ weekends but it is a super fun spot to get a drink and some snacks with Friends) especially if you love lobster rolls and they have really good deviled eggs as well.

Love the 1029 Bar, a local hole-in-the-wall joint around forever! Super comfortable and draws a very mixed crowd, trendy on weekends. Food is bar-no e amazing! Go visit and have dinner on the patio, you will not be disappointed
