We absolutely loved this cute Tex mex restaurant. They had a vegan menu which was delicious. We tried the veggie fajitas and the bean burrito. My dad had the chicken quesadilla and we were all super satisfied with the quality and quantity of food! Started us off with complimentary sopita and it was deckhouse as well.

Another place I discovered the last time I was in town. So I had to come back. We ordered fajitas supreme and a Mexican bowl. Plenty of free parking. Seating inside or outside. Clean inside and outside. The food was hot and fresh.

Awesome food! They have a vegan section on their menu. They also have a “Welcome Soup” that is vegan and tastes so good, lentils were on point. They also allow your dogs to chill with you on the porch while you eat, great for us because we live in a van and we’re traveling through. Only downfall I’d say is maybe wish the bean burrito plate was a dollar or two cheaper, simply because it’s just beans and rice with tortilla. But hey, it was freaking good so no real complaints! Worth trying.

We tried out Haberneros for the first time last night with take-out for two. We absolutely loved the Chile Relleno Plate and the Fish Tacos were very tasty with a mild but flavorable chipotle. We will definitely leave this place on a go-to list. Great food at reasonable price point.

Authentic Mexican food. We had lunch here after our White sands visit. Loved the vegetarian options. Flan was one of the best I ever had. Service was good. We had our puppy with us and staff was very accommodating. Must try shrimp, tacos and flan. Highly recommend this place.

Food was great, they even gave us a sample of a soup on the house that was pretty good. I had the steak quesadilla and my wife had the sour cream enchiladas. Both were good and portions were appropriate. We had chips and queso also that were pretty good. The queso was a little different than we’re used to in Houston, but it was good.

Habanero’s Fresh Mex has become one of our family’s favorite spots in the entire city. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and full of color, but what really sets them apart is their vegan menu. It’s not just an afterthought like most places. They clearly put care into making vegan dishes that are delicious and satisfying. My whole family loves it, and it’s our go-to stop whenever we’re craving something amazing. Highly recommend!
