Service was outstanding from start to finish. Luis, our server, was beyond amazing: attentive without hovering, always anticipating what we needed, and keeping everything running smoothly for a complex wine and food tasting dinner with many moving parts. The entire staff made sure we had absolutely everything we required to make the night a success.
The food itself was incredible and paired beautifully with the wines. The standouts were the vintage Champagne with the chapulines, the Rioja with the tlayuda, aged Chardonnay with the empanada, and the Lechuza red blend with the mole. It was amazing to see how well the dishes matched the wines, and how many unexpected pairings became crowd favorites.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that cares deeply about hospitality, flexibility, and true service, this is it. Highly recommended for both private events and dinner in general.
It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but once step inside it feels like a really nice restaurant. The decor is done really well, and the whole vibe is welcoming.
I tried the horchata with nuez and tuna for the first time, really good. Tasted fresh, not too sweet, and felt like a healthier version of an horchata they sell at taco trucks. We ended up getting one to go too.
The enchiladas de mole were amazing. They brought out three different types of mole, each with its own flavor. It was recommended to us and I’d absolutely recommend it to others too.
We also tried the Moles Arcoíris, hands down one of the best dishes. It came with five different moles and a portion of rice in the center. Great way to sample a range of flavors. Definitely recommend.
Didn’t try the alcoholic drinks, but the mezcal cocktails looked solid. Prices were great too.
Our server was super friendly and made the whole experience even better.
You get two eggs, chicken milanesa in a slightly spicy tomato sauce, beans, rice and tortillas! So damn good. Boring USA breakfasts no more! Super filling!
This restaurant is part of a chain. Still the quality of the food and service are very, very good. I had the mole negro with chicken breast. Really good mole negro and the chicken was great. I don’t like the rice that comes with it though. It has veggies in it so it ends up tasting somewhat sweet. Their horchata is pink and very sweet. Pretty good. We came at night and they had live music. Our server was very polite and nice. In fact so were his coworkers. There’s a little market with all sorts of Oaxacan foods. Meter parking available.
Very friendly service And excellent food
