Was recently in town for business and decided to pop in here. Sports bar is my guilty pleasure. Bartender was super friendly. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with tots. Also had a side of queso 10 out of 10 would recommend one of the better bar Phillies I’ve had. They had a great selection of beer atmosphere was fantastic. I ended up getting some wings to go, but couldn’t resist and ate them in the car on the way back to the hotel definitely some of the best wings in all of North Carolina! Woodies is a must if you’re in the area.

Came here for lunch w my dogs. Bartender was really nice and said they could serve me outside so I ordered a drink and by the time I sat outside, it was delivered with a bowl of water with ice for the dogs! Very pretty area to the left of front w seating, shade, sun, games, etc. and I sat around TV’s outside watching golf on one and the NFL Draft on another…there were several more TV’s…more than even needed for the front outside. A server different than my bartender took over after my seating and she was great too. I ordered hot wings, and while the hot is more medium, the sauce had the best flavor ever…savory and a hint of sweet but not enough to override the heat and tang. Perfect. 5 stars!

Everything was great, however we not pleased with the Philly Egg rolls, as they literally had slices of Jalapeños in them. It was our fault for not reading the menu, so didn’t doc a star. Our table was very pleased with the food, service and overall experience, but maybe leave the jalapeños out of the Philly egg rolls, and make it just like your sandwich, the standard, onion, peppers, cheese, and meat. . We’ll be back!

The food here is good! I got a big to go order from them. Some were hits, some were misses, but I definitely recommend the spot. Got the Big McWoody quesadilla, which was super tasty. I got the west coast black & bleu burger, which was decent. I also got the Chicago Chipotle burger, which was decent, it was just a little too spicy for my taste though. I got the Woody’s Weiner with chili, bacon and sauerkraut, which was fine, nothing to rave about. And then I got The Woody Melt which was really good, highly recommend it. Their fries and tots are also very good.

Great Wings and Good Vibes! The wings were the perfect size — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and cooked just right. The sauces were awesome too — familiar favorites with a creative twist that actually makes them better. You can tell they put thought into every flavor. Service was super attentive and friendly without hovering, and the vibe here is just great — fun, relaxed, and perfect for hanging out with friends or catching a game. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Went there last night, a band was playing…and we had good seats without any waiting time, the bouncer at door had adorable dog and most Charming manners to check your age… the workers were prompt to show up and take orders and kept on checking frequently..the pictures, signs, logos and artifacts are interesting, varied and ambiance is a mix of sports bar and cozy neighborhood joint. Bathroom was OK clean and I don’t know if they provide mask or hand sanitizer as options, as I didn’t look for it. Food was overcooked on greasy side and portions were good size. Live music was great and kept on waiting for some dancing to happen, not seeing any open floor provided. Overall a lovely and lively experience for a Friday night. Outdoors is cute with colorful setup, lights and plants. Oh they don’t have proper margarita mugs, was served in regular glasses, didn’t enjoy as I like prim and proper vessels for my various drinks.Furniture has character, I’d say. Must be visited sometime ❤️

I am not from the area but I like traveling to the triangle just for this bar. It is my favorite bar in the United States of America. I love the chicken fritters which are twice fried and doused in amazing sauce. There beer always taste just perfect. The lines taste clean and it has perfect carbonation. 10/10 would recommend

I’ve been coming here close to 20 years. Best damn wings I’ve ever had. It’s a fun sports bar with pool tables. Great place to grab a beer with friends. The sauce is spot on. Mild, sweet and hot are all amazing. The wings are big and crispy on the outside. Wish I’d gotten a pic last time but I will get one next time to show u all how amazing they are. Not sure about other food. The mixed drinks are okay but if u want good wings there’s nowhere better.

Super cool sports bar. Service was amazing, and they had a full house with 3 servers and a bartender. Crazy busy! We were there to watch UofM and MSU game. Our server was so nice, even though she was trying to manage about 35 people and keep everybody happy. My drink was never empty in the 3+ hours we were there. When I visit NC again, I’ll be going back to Woody’s! Great experience! Oh, definitely try the garlic cheese curds! So good!
