I really liked their catfish! I think it’s the best I’ve had. The sides weren’t as good, but I will definitely go back for the catfish.

This was our first stop on this years tenderloin trail! Boy are we glad we did the pork tenderloin was very flavorful not sure if it’s a salt or what exactly gives it such great flavor but wow. It was thick for the sheer size of it and still very tender and juicy. I had the coleslaw which was also solid and my buddy got the fries with his also very good. We did get mayo for our tenderloins. He also ordered the fried shrimp appetizer which came with a lot of shrimp and he said was very good. The tenderloin for the price is ridiculous. Could easily split it for two people. The service was very friendly. Solid amount of people for a Monday night. The rest of the trail will have to bring its A game to compete with this!

Bring a big appetite because you will need it, and even then you may end up with leftovers.

Great hidden gem!
After we almost got lost twice on the way, we found this gem! Definitely use navigation!
The restaurant was at capacity, but after a short wait, the friendly hostess took us to the table. The place is pretty basic, but it has plenty of TVs, decorations and even Keno! The waitress was very friendly and on top of it!
Make sure that you get the stuffed mushrooms! You can thank me later! We also had gizzards as an appetizer and they were great as well – good seasoning and cooked to perfection.
We had the walleye dinner and the prime rib – both VERY large portions and tasting great! Our friends ordered the Country Fried Steak and it was HUGE!!! It’s probably enough for three people!
Overall great experience and we’ll be back soon!

The food was absolutely delicious and more than ample amount of serving. The waitress never filled our drinks and then when she brought us the check she charged for an additional drink that we did not order and there was another extra 3% added to the table because I used my credit card I was not informed of this prior to ordering Nora was there anything listed on the menu so I was a little miffed

We’ve always loved stopping here when we visit our son. Unfortunately, do due the price increases, we will no longer be stopping here. After two meals, a beer, and the tip, the meal simply wasn’t worth the $70 it came to. In addition, the prices on the menu are of you’re paying cash and if it’s posted somewhere, it’s definitely not obvious.

Cozy wood cabin interior.
Casual, very friendly and helpful service.
They have outdoor seating which would be nice in the summer time.
Food was all good. We were informed that the owner was in cooking today. Many items are made in house.
The fried oysters were delicious. The chicken is a touch salty for my taste, but still fried up nicely, with moist meat.
The prices looked high, but the portions are exceptionally large that make up for it, so the price point is fine.
I wasn’t a big fan of the soup, but it wasn’t bad.
If you are looking for fried food, this is definitely a good place to go. They do have other items that aren’t fried, but it seems like fried is best. For sides, I liked their mashed potatoes.
A bit hard to find if you are just driving around looking for it, but we used GPS, and found it without a problem.
