We stopped by No Frills Grill for a quick bite recently, and it was fantastic. I ordered the Caesar salad topped with fried calamari—a dish I first fell in love with a few years ago—and it definitely didn’t disappoint! My husband went with the fried flounder fish and chips; the portion was massive and perfectly prepared. Even the coleslaw was delicious, which says a lot since I’m very particular about it. To top it off, our server, KT, was absolutely awesome and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

First time visiting and I most likely won’t visit this location anymore, but the Norfolk instead.
The service was great, very fast and quick to answer our questions.
The Happy Hour isn’t a good one as only drafts, beer & wine were on the list so that sucked.
The crab dip was a 7/10, espresso martini 10/10, and although the Portobello Pasta isn’t on the menu for this location they did cook it for me. It was 2/10 as far as flavor, so I think the cooks can give a little more TLC to their food.
BUT, as we sat there from the very beginning of dinner I noticed the demographic of customers matched the cooking. We were the only POC in the building and the amount of stares we received made me feel like I was in the 1920s so not a good experience towards the end.

We came for lunch during St. Patrick and at the end of the parade, so it was a bit crowded, however we only had a 8 minute wait. The food was decent. I also order a lavender lemonade martini was was very good. My artichoke dip was very good, and really cheesy. Not too salty either. The buffalo shrimp was cooked well and tasty. The food came out hot which is what we really liked. My son had the over the top burger that comes with an egg and he really enjoyed it. It has a diner feel and I like that. Very casual so I wouldn’t recommend if you want to dress up. Very family friendly restaurant but also has bar seating inside.

This place was super cozy. Very friendly and attentive staff. Cocktail was tasty. The nachos were delicious and so we’re the fries. Friend had a salad she enjoyed. The artichoke dip appetizer was the only big miss, didn’t taste good at all. Overall great place.

Every time I come here I want to add another review. Kenny was making the banging French Dip sandwiches and even came out to meet us. Stephanie S the bar tender was so nice and she makes sure everyone at her bar is super happy. Such great customer service and we Love IT

Went on a lunch break because the ine in Norfolk is good. Ordered a seafood ravioli off of the lunch special menu. When it came to the table, there were 4 ravioli on the plate. When asked to exchange/reorder for a different menu item I was told by the waiter he had to speak with the manager. He came back and said the manager said we still have to charge you. On top of that, the pasta was cold! Will not be returning.

The calamari was crispy and very good. The fish and chips are large portion sizes and tasted great! I loved all of the variety of salads that they had on the menu. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is very pleasant. This is a nice diner for a quick bite to eat.

Horrible experience. Ordered the lunch special that was 17.00 by the way. The ravioli was maybe 5-6 on a bed of brocollini. I immediately knew I wanted to order something else and was told that I would be charged still for food that I didn’t eat. The waiter did not mention it was smaller portion nor did it state that on the menu. The food was not well seasoned either. Money was wasted.
