the experience was sketchy to say the least. After ordering, was told we could not add mozzarella to our food, despite it being on the list of ingredients you could add. Additionally a receipt was not provided after purchase. When we asked for a receipt, the woman working the counter said she would get one, walked off to help someone at the bar, and never gave it to us. I’m not one to complain about quality on a busy day, but for 26 dollars, I’d expect the service and quality of food to be better. The woman serving us was also very rude and short, but that I can understand, given the busy atmosphere.

WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! I traveled almost 3 hours to eat from this place and when I checked my pizza it is literally burnt black on the bottom! I call this sorry restaurant and the worker RUDELY proceeded to tell me as the customer what I should have done as if it’s MY fault my pizza I paid almost 90 dollars for was burnt! She told me “well, I would have checked it before I left, that’s a long way home” etc etc!!! Who says that to their customers?!? I was in complete shock! No “sorry about this, ma’am” just her BLAMING me for my pizza being burnt and TELLING me what SHE would have done! Well I’m not you! I’ve never had a worker at a restaurant be so rude to me in all my life! I will never go back here and if this is the kind of people they hire, I don’t trust the food because she is definitely disgusting and absolutely rude!

This location isn’t as good as the other locations. When you walk in the bar usually smells like dirty mop water, and the pizza is not as good as the other locations, but I’m glad to have pizza by the slice in the downtown area.

Reliable late night spot for quick bite and drinks downtown. Drinks are good. Pizza is fine/okay. Waitress was extremely inappropriate and rude making fun of my husband’s accent and physically snatching his hat and throwing it on our table. If it was a ‘joke’ she took it too far. Laying hands on customers is WRONG. Prob won’t go back because of that. It’s a shame because experiences have generally been good before this incident.

We did a build your own pizza with sausage, hot honey, tomatoes, spinach and ricotta cheese. It was so fire so freaking delicious. I’ll be dreaming of it for a while and missing it when out of town. Would recommend and return!

SO FAR, THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST PIZZA IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN!
THE INGREDIENTS ARE FRESH, AND THEY LOAD EM UP, UNLIKE SO MANY OTHER ITALIAN/ PIZZA RESTAURANTS THAT LOVE TO USE JARRED VEGETABLES.

After a show at Live Oaks, we were looking for a bite. While in The Village Market, SoL was recommended for late night bites. We walked over and got right in. Only bar service, but could order full menu. Had to work through the people sitting at the bar, but it wasn’t bad. We both got a couple of slices, and my wife grabbed a beer. Didn’t take long till we heard our name called, and we grabbed our food. Thin crispy crust. Good-sized topping. All seemed very fresh. Decent sized inside with a good-sized patio out back with quite a few picnic tables. Located right on Market Street, within walking distance to lots. Good solid pie here. Staff was pretty friendly, especially seeing only 2 and was a bit busy.

One of my favorite spots in downtown Wilmington! This place offers a truly unique pizza experience, with a perfect blend of crust and toppings. Whether you’re grabbing a slice or ordering a whole pie, you’ll enjoy great prices and fast service. Plus, their cocktails and drinks are always ready to go, ensuring a quick and satisfying dining experience.

I’m disappointed by this experience, mainly because of a serious lack of attention from the staff. While dining here, my friend was visibly choking, and no one checked on her or offered help. That was concerning and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
On top of that, the food itself was very poor and did not meet expectations for the price or the restaurant’s reputation. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and I hope the staff can be more attentive to guests’ safety and improve the quality of the food in the future.
