I showed up around noon on a Thursday, it was pretty empty. The dining room was well maintained and clean, but flies will show once the food is on the table, so don’t leave your food unattended.
I recommend the blackened seasoning. The onion rings were out of this world: crispy batter while maintaining the slight onion texture. I also recommend putting the mixed gain rice in the chowder. The two complement each other very well.
For the price, I’d like to see a bigger piece of fish and more clams in the chowder… If you ever had the chowder in Maryland, you know what I am taking about.
Slipper lobster taco 4/5.
Mahi taco 5/5.
Ahi taco 4/5.
Fish shop clam chowder 5/5.
Fries 4/5.
Ambiance was very nice with open seating and plenty of sunshine. Very helpful staff. The only drawback is the location is easy to miss and the prices are a bit high. The higher prices do not take away from the portion size so that’s nice.
Great variety of fresh fish, prepared in lots of ways. I love the salmon, blackened, as a sandwich. The ceviche is great! Poke bowl is amazing. Never really had anything I didn’t enjoy.
Decent beer selection, and cocktails are adequate, but this is not a place to go to get your drank on.
Great value.
