It’s super frustrating that they cannot get my order right. I don’t order close to dinner or lunch rush, I’m not ordering anything complicated. But every time I order, something by about my meal is wrong. There is mayonnaise all over my plate, smooshed into the rice and meat. I ordered with no macaroni salad, sub for rice instead. No extra scoop of rice, just a huge wet pile of mayo noodles on my food. Perfect.

I got the regular plate with 2 teriyaki steak. My wife got the teriyaki chicken and the katsu chicken. For the steak I feel like the portion size has dropped and the steak up charge has gone up. The price to food on comparison to what my wife got was appalling. Next time I will just get chicken. On top of all of that my wife got burnt dry chicken. We know its supposed to be charred but this was burnt. And the rice was rock hard. We were also not given any katsu sauce for the katsu chicken which I had to drive back for. We’ve had good experiences before but this was really bad.

Mo’ Bettahs is already one of my go-to spots, especially for the teriyaki chicken. It’s one of the best places to load up on quality protein without spending a ton. I grab four sides every time and it’s still a solid deal for how much food you get.
But what really made this visit stand out was Sam and her team.
Sam didn’t treat this like just another order. She was locked in, engaging, and genuinely kind. You can feel when someone actually cares about the people they’re serving, and she absolutely does. That kind of leadership sets the tone, and the whole team reflects it.
Food was dialed. Service was dialed. Experience was dialed.
Sam made it personal, and that’s exactly why I’ll be back.

I went on a Sunday a few weeks ago and was blown away by the service of the female general manager. It was my first time seeing her there, but she was so energetic and fun! Keep up the good work and positive atmosphere 🙂

Ordered two plates with Teri chicken, both arrived with not a single ounce of protein on them. Just a plate of cabbage and rice. When I ordered a replacement it arrived with no Teri sauce on the chicken, skimped on the rice, no utensils. I even called ahead after ordering the replacement, requesting they double check it before it goes out.

I dined in and was very pleased. I was assisted immediately by Samantha Gomez who introduced herself right away.. She was very kind and professional. Very welcoming and attentive she made my first visit to Mo Bettah’s , Mo Bettah’ then I could have imagined. She should be given a significant increase in pay. She is a hard worker and very cute also. I have returned twice and will continue to use your So. Jordan restaurant. Also the staff was very kind and store was clean.

Omg it was our first time trying Mo’Bettah’s and we weren’t disappointed. The portions are large, very filling and worth the price. The food was very yummy, the teriyaki chicken and crispy katsu were great, especially with their sauces. The rice and macaroni salad were also great. You get a total of two sauces with the two meat plate. The service at this location was exceptional and friendly. It was also clean and had a great atmosphere. We headed here after we had a bad experience with a different restaurant and I’m so glad we chose to eat this food instead! Soooo good! 🙂

We’ve ordered delivery from here twice, and both times we paid extra for double steak on two meals. The additional charge is not cheap, yet the portion of steak we received was barely more than a standard serving. It honestly feels misleading to charge for “double” and not deliver it.
This has happened twice now, so it’s clearly not a one-time mistake. We won’t be supporting this business anymore and will be taking our orders to Auntie’s instead.
