At our Tifton, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Food is fantastic! It’s the best Captain D’s I’ve ever been to. The service is kinda bad. Terrible attitudes and they act like they don’t want you to be here. But, the food is always great. Only one other thing… the music is TERRIBLE. It’s suffering old time country. So, get it to go.

FOOD was good and the people friendly..but the whole reeked of straight weed…then after we got our food…a roach came running
Across the table..used my phone to kill him and knock it to the floor…
After that..I’d lost my appetite.
And it made me wonder what kind of condition the kitchen was in…But between the smell of weed..and I think all the employees were high and the roach incident..I won’t be going back to captain Ds in tifton close to walmarts.

I’m really disappointed with the Captain D’s in Tifton, GA. Their posted hours clearly say the dining room is open until 10 PM, but when I showed up around 9, the doors were already locked and the dining area was closed. If you’re going to close the dining room an hour early, you should be honest about it on your website and signs. It feels like false advertising and terrible customer service. I wasn’t trying to dine in after closing — I was there with plenty of time, only to be turned away. Super frustrating and unprofessional. Don’t tell customers one thing and do another.

We’re out of town on vacation and went in there today for the first time the cashier Regina was very professional. The staff was very professional. The food was really really good. Definitely would you recommend this place came out fast and was very clean.
