We are staying right across the way from this establishment on a work trip and walked over here last night. The review from the group was mixed. I thoroughly enjoyed my colorado burrito. It had a healthy helping of beef, cheese, and refried beans. The flavors were good and the rice was fresh. We also ordered the queso which was a little lackluster. The homemade chips were delicious. One of my colleagues ordered the shrimp cocktail and she enjoyed. The french fries were fresh and crisp. The enchiladas also got a double thumbs up from the table. Overall the quality for the price does not seem exactly excellent as we felt it was a little overpriced. However, with that being said, the staff was extremely helpful and the food came out quick. It is worth giving this place a shot !!

Señor Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant offers good food and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant features a side bar and a reserved room for parties, which is great for groups and special events. While the food tasted good, the service was a bit slow, and our meals took longer than expected to arrive, even though the restaurant was not very full at the time. Overall, it’s a decent place with good food, but service speed could be improved.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to dine at Senor Pepe’s on multiple occasions. The wait staff here are incredible. The food is always incredibly delicious and authentic including the tacos , enchiladas and especially this crisp chicken tacquitos.
I recently went to the happy hour and was amazed by the variety of foods available , including fresh nachos with choice of ground beef or chicken and mouth watering quesadillas.
I opted for the ground beef nachos and a quesadilla along with a blended mango margarita. What a treat!
Plenty of large screen TVs with sporting events as well as a blend of 70s rock playing .
Great place to dine, or have a drink.
The wait staff are always friendly and efficient .

Worst Mexican Restaurant in Bakersfield. Not Authentic at all. Ranchero beans came with raw onions and tomatoes. Beans were slightly undercooked with little taste. The rice was over seasoned. And the Chicken Burrito tasted poorly. The wrap it came in tasted like plastic. Not recommended if you want real Mexican food. Salsa came from a can.

Great experience. I got the taco salad but I think it was named something else. It was ok a little too wet and mushy for me. More like bean dip but my husbands was really good. I forget what it was called they serve it on a hot skillet. The service was great and fast and the price was better then most. The restaurant looked clean and well kept. I will definitely go back and try something different next time.

After Blanca brought chips & salsa she disappeared. There were only two tables so she wasn’t busy. Just as I was getting up to leave she reappeared. I stayed and ordered the 2 item combo lunch special with a chicken enchilada, a ground beef taco, and rice & beans. I don’t eat anything spicy, and I thought the food was bland, so it had to be really bland! After the food came out she walked by to ask if everything was ok, mid stride, no eye contact, then disappeared again. Not even a water refill. She didn’t come back until I got her attention to ask for the check. Overall terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

We ate a late lunch and as soon as you walked in. Nobody was at the front desk when we first arrived but pretty quickly someone appeared and took us to a table pulled a chair away So my wheelchair could fit in at the table. We were asked what we would like to drink immediately.Which was wonderful,We got served quite quickly.
We chose fajita trio they came out sizzling hot, I believe we also received homemade flour tortillas. Raymond had his soda refilled. They kept my water filled. Service was great.
Atmosphere Had plenty to look at and a beautiful stained glass ceiling Looking light fixture in the center, Being our first time there, pretty good experience.

This is one of my favorite spots in town! Their Sunday buffet is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and there’s such a great variety to choose from. Whether you’re craving traditional Mexican dishes or something new, everything tastes authentic and delicious.
The customer service is excellent as well. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and they make you feel like family every time you visit.
If you’re looking for a place with great food, great people, and a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out especially on Sundays for the buffet!
