Wonderful breakfast and many healthy options! (Turkey Egg White Omlete with side of Hollandaise sauce- with choice of either potatoes, fresh fruit or greens-$13.99)Including a great selection of fresh pressed juices.($5.79..worth it!) Good selection of tea- lemon and honey ($2.99)brought to the table with hot water carafe. Sat outside on the patio (dogs are allowed 🙂 server was kind and very efficient. Total Bill Amt would have been $17 pkus tax but I definitely splurged with the Juice! Definitely making this a regular breakfast spot! Yum! No wait time during the week, but I can imagine it is very busy on weekend mornings, so I would get there early!

Stopped here for a brunch with friends, they were accommodating with seating us! Had a classic brunch with a carrot cake pancake. Wasn’t bad, the pancake at another broken egg is better but next time I would try the lemon ricotta one. Wife had the chickichanga and that had good flavor! The refreshing juices were good too and the service was attentive and friendly. With many brunch spots in the Bay Area this is still a good one to go to for a chain. Would recommend!

WARNING- My check had a QR code to pay at my table. I clicked it, and somehow a couple of dollars was added to my check. No warning or explanation. So I didn’t complete the transaction. I paid my check with the cashier, and the amount never appeared on the screen, so I had to ask for a receipt. I tried to explain this to the cashier, but she had zero interest in hearing about it. So unless you don’t mind getting charged for nothing, don’t pay at your table, go stand in line for the cashier.

Salad instead of potatoes for breakfast? Why not. This place is a step above cracker barrel or Bob Evans (both of which i like). The coffee was simply outstanding, and i love how they leave the pot on the table. My bacon/avocado omelet and coffee was $19.87. It doesn’t look impressive from the outside, but they’re upscale. Plenty of parking.

On Sunday, there were huge queues, and the tables outside had leftover food on them for a long time. The toilet wasn’t very clean. The service was also not very fast or friendly. This was our first time at this location, and we didn’t like it; we’ll stick to our favorite place in Westchase.

This is my new favorite place. After all the Perkins have been closing down I’ve searched for a new place. This is it. The chicken sausage pancakes and eggs are top tier.

We visited this location North Dale Mabry First Watch about a year ago. The service was maybe ok at best. The waitress forgot our side of potatoes , and side of eggs. Never apologised. Also, when she brought the check, never said thanks for coming just dropped it.. I always leave %20-25% tip. Today I still left 15% with this type of service.. We always go to the Lutz location which has EXCELLENT SERVICE. Will absolutely not return to this first watch. Twice with this service is enough..

We had the best server today. Her name is Carly. She was very attentive, paid attention to details and brought out the food timely. She also followed up to make sure her team mate brought out the extra dressing I requested. I could not have asked for better service.

A while back we had such terrible service we almost did not go back. So I was very pleased today. Service was excellent.

The food was good. But I do want to make a few suggestions. I ordered the Ham and Gruyere omelet and added onions and diced tomato. I would have liked a little more onion and tomato, especially for the .99 cents each price. And have the ingredients, ham, cheese, etc, spread out a little. It was all lumped in the middle.
I would l have liked a little more dressing on the greens. It was almost like there was none. Of course, Carly brought me more so that was good. Other than that, the food was good.

Last, I would like a better selection of Herbal Teas that are decaffeinated not just flavored caffeinated tea. The only herbal tea you had was the Chamomile. That to me is an evening tea because it relaxes you and makes you sleepy. Other herbal teas would be nice.

Overall, we will be back as long as the service stays good.

The food is spectacular at this place. I’ve visited it several times, highly recommended it, and have also visited with family and friends, but the service is a bit lacking. They treat you kindly upon arrival, but the waitress isn’t very attentive and treats you indifferently. I hope it’s not because I’m Latino and they’re treating me in a racist way.

First Watch consistently delivers an experience that feels fresh every time. The moment you walk in, the place has this calm bright energy that sets the tone for a good morning. The service is steady friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed which I really appreciate. The menu has a lot of good options but the avocado toast and the million dollar bacon are the real stars.

The avocado toast comes out layered with smooth creamy avocado that tastes genuinely fresh with a light citrus note that lifts every bite. The bread has the perfect balance of softness and crunch so it never feels soggy or heavy. It is simple but done with a level of care that makes it feel like more than just another breakfast item. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and it shows.

The million dollar bacon is unforgettable. It has this sweet smoky richness that hits you right away and it tastes like it was cooked slowly with real attention. The texture has that perfect mix of crisp edges and tender bites that just melt. It is easily the best bacon I have had at any breakfast spot in the area and it always comes out consistently good.

Every visit feels reliable in the best way. Clean environment flavorful food and a staff that keeps things moving without ever sacrificing comfort. This First Watch location deserves all five stars and it has become one of my favorite places to start the day.
