Amazing service from start to finish, we got it right around Brunch time. We were greeted by our lovely waitress Ivette and she was so knowledgeable on everything! She even informed us about the two for one drink special!
The food was incredible and the salsa was sooo good!!! (Not many Mexican restaurants do salsa good)
The icing on the cake was when she gifted us the cutest Mexican worry Dolls after our meals
“worry doll” which he told us to put under our pillow tonight and it would take away all our worries when we sleep. That was such an original idea and so cute. We will definitely be back.
Today, however, we visited Besito Huntington and had a miserable experience. We made a 7:00 pm reservation for a party of nine, which I booked several days in advance. When we arrived, we waited about 30 minutes because they needed to join a couple of tables and were waiting for a party of two to leave. The issue? That party had finished their meal and paid nearly 30 minutes prior — they were simply chatting at the table.
The manager refused to ask them to vacate the table, and told us that we’d have to wait until they left on their own. I was baffled. Restaurants deal with this situation all the time, and many know how to handle it with tact — perhaps gently reminding guests that the next reservation has arrived, or inviting them to continue their conversation at the bar. No such attempt was made. Instead, our party of nine had to wait for a party of two to leave, which is simply poor business practice. It left us feeling like our patronage didn’t matter.
To make matters worse, one of the dishes we ordered — chicken tacos — was shockingly plain. We had asked to substitute chicken for beef, yet what was served were three tacos with just chicken and melted cheese. No vegetables, no garnish, no seasoning — nothing resembling the flavorful Mexican cuisine Besito is known for. When we asked about it, we were given a small bowl of salad to add on top. It’s embarrassing for a restaurant of Besito’s reputation and caliber to serve a dish like this.
After many years of dining with Besito, I can honestly say this experience was a huge disappointment. We won’t be returning to the Huntington location. We’ll visit Roslyn, or find a restaurant that values and appreciates its customers.
Second time I come, the food is exquisite, accompanied by my cabernet wine and of course in the company of my partner, the service is excellent, how lucky we made a reservation because it was full. thank you very much I recommend it
3er time One very special day, my birthday. I went with my boyfriend. He made a reservation. Dress code: semi-casual. The service was excellent, and the food delicious. We enjoyed it, along with my company of course. I recommend it for those who go with friends and family
Thank uuu!
