This is the second Jimmy hula’s restaurant I’ve been to. The first is in Palm shores Florida but this one has the scenery down pack. Of course the tacos are full to the brim, fresh, very flavorful and I always opt to have the voodoo tacos which is a lightly battered crispy fish with pineapple and jalapeno salsa and voodoo sauce stuffed inside of a nice crispy tortilla shell. I also ordered Cajun fries with voodoo sauce as my side item and they are very tasty perfectly seasoned in the voodoo sauce sets them off completely, But the real gem here is the private dining area outside in the front of the restaurant. It is drop dead gorgeous and it makes you feel like you’re in some type of Caribbean resort. I enjoyed that area very much and with the food it just made everything perfect. This is my second time being here and both times were spot on at two different restaurants. Great job Jimmy hula keep it up

Decided to try this location and it is amazing! Loveeeee the outdoor seating with the fountain and plants! So cute
Staff was very friendly and attentive too
Food is delicious, got the jimichurri and the Baja tacos with drink chips and guac for $20
Price increased a lot but I guess it’s just our new reality
Make sure you try their gnarlic sauce ( you can get by the fountain drink machine)
Will definitely be back

Such an incredible gem in Altamonte! Food is amazing, staff is top notch! I go there multiple times a week to relax on their tropical deck that looks like “The Garden Of Eden”. If nothing else just sitting on the deck will relax you and that is free. They will customize any item for you! They have a full bar if you have a beverage of choice in mind. Makes you feel like you are sitting off the beach in Hawaii… No plane ticket needed! Cheers 🙂

We really love Jimmy Hulas food. It’s been a favorite for several years. However, their prices have just gone through the roof. I know everything has gone up everywhere, but their increases in prices are next level.
It’s just crazy to spend $40 for 2 “meals”.
Everything has always been a la cart at Jimmy Hulas, which is already not a good value, but now each item has skyrocketed in price. $6 for 1 average size taco is insane, and then another nearly $5 for a side like fries. $18-20 per person for a small burrito and fries and no beverage is ridiculous! I know their food is fresh and good quality, but it’s still basically, a fast food” restaurant. It’s a counter service joint with a fun atmosphere. I can get a nice meal with a beverage in a sit down restaurant with a waiter for that price and sometimes even less.
I love the food, but sadly, it will be a long time before we’ll go back.

We were traveling and stopped here for lunch. It felt like discovering a little gem.
The food was delicious; we ordered blackened shrimp and fish tacos, both excellent.
The decor is original, like a small island of calm in the middle of busy roads and streets.

It’s been awhile since we be been here but it didn’t take long to realize that we were missing it since we moved away. The service and atmosphere were amazing and the food was better than I remember it being.
Brought my daughter and a couple of friends that never had visited and they were instantly hooked on the Hula. Outside seats no even on a warm fall day was nice with shade fans and TVs for the games.If you haven’t been you need to take this place in as it will become an instant favorite.

Really disappointed they took away the ground beef from their bangin beef tacos. Chicken is in big chunks. Should be shredded. Steak is in strips. Too big. Won’t be returning!

Good burgers, good bowls, decent portions, fast polite service, decent prices, Hawaiian beer on menu is good. Small area, tight parking (but you can park just a lil further and find a spot in no time for just a short walk over, sometimes slow service, closes fairly early no matter if it’s the weekend. I would recommend it. And I can vouch that the kitchen is very clean, sanitized and kept up to par and standard. Pulled pork bowl with white rice and chimi is fire!! I’m not saying drive 20 miles to come try it, but if your in the Altamonte area on the 434×436 side it’s definitely worth trying. Especially if your tired of the norm. Final thou

Great fish options. Reasonable price. Cute little ambiance. Like the outdoor seating. It’s a tradition whenever we come to Florida to at least eat here one night because the food is comforting and the vibes are feel good.

Food is always good, love the atmosphere. A shamed they closed the one in lake mary. Only thing that was slightly annoying is that the girls(i get it are young) were too focused in chit chatting amongst themselves that they completely forget to give us our order even though it was sitting there for several minutes. Only complaint but aside from that good experience.
