1st time over left a non (5) star review. Was there Thursday for a work luncheon. 5 people total. Food was good. Lady server was very nice. Male server was abrupt and mean. I had asked for an iced to go while we asked for the bill. Bill came and my iced tea which they charged a separate bill for. Almost 5$ and the “machine” minimum tip was 25%. I know I could’ve hit custom and left 0 but I didn’t want to make a stink of it with a company luncheon. Everybody at the table was shocked. I looked at the menu today and nothing about a to go charge. Oh well. It was decent food with good chips. Hope no ones gets the mean server and don’t ask for anything to go.
Thanks

This gem of a Mexican restaurant is a perfecto family favorite of ours. We love to come and have the Tri-fajitas (shrimp, steak and chicken). The fajitas come with choice of flour or corn tortillas (we asked for a combo of both because they are so delicious), sour cream, guacamole, refried beans and rice. ¡Muy delicioso!

The restaurant itself is a welcoming, colorful and inviting place. Bright walls in tropical colors, plants and beautiful murals adorn the walls.

The service is fabulous too. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and felt so welcomed. It was like being in someone’s home as a guest at a family meal. We loved that.

Go find Paraiso next time you are in Marysville. It’s just across the I-5 highway from Costco. We go anytime we are in town.

This place is so fun and festive! The servers and bartenders are very attentive and make sure your meal and drinks are good! I have a strict diet and they accommodated my requests for substitutions and it was amazing! It was my first trip, but I definitely look forward to coming back again.

The best Mexican food we have had since moving to Washington almost a decade ago! The queso birria tacos were full of flavor and the pollo à la crema was delicious! They treat you like friends and check on you like family would. Amazing service, kept our waters full, provided exceptional hot sauces, and they truly care. This will be our go to Mexican restaurant!

I really wanted to love this place and the food is decent, but the service sometimes is not great. Our male waiter was inattentive until it was time to ring us up and then he became fake friendly.

They offer you pico de gallo when you come in. Be aware it’s about $3. I don’t mind paying that, but it’d be nice if they were up front about it.

However, what really irritates me is when you use a credit card their tipping options start at 25%. I always hit “other” and tip 20%, but it really irritates me on principle.

Found this restaurant by accident and we were impressed! First, the remodeling of an entire motel into a combination restaurant, bar and pool hall is amazing. Second, any restaurant that has been around for 30 years (according to the staff) you know has got to be good.

These initial impressions were backed up by the Pico de Gallo, shrimp fajitas, and steak molcajete. To top it off, they serve a homemade hot sauce paste the consistency of gochujang that has a wonderful umami and spiciness (6/5) that makes you want to have more (and indeed, you can take it home with you)!

The staff were kind and helpful, and you could tell they were proud of this restaurant. When you dine here, you will taste why!

I highly recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Food is horrible my 1 year old chicken nuggets were 10xs better than my food, bought bean dip that was cold and thick. Got a burrito and the whole thing was soggy like a wet paper towel. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
