Great sunset place for locals and tourists. Food and drinks were good. Outside eating you do have to deal with the fly’s that want your seafood. Tonight there was music which added to the abonance of the restaurant. Parking is in an issue you have to come early or no a side street to park on. The staff was great. Happy hour was 430-530 bogo (buy one. Get one).

Fantastic service. Our waitress arranged to have a Mariachi band play a few songs about love during my proposal! She also took photos and videos. The Pargo and shrimp rice were perfect along with the pineapple and coconut pies. Wonderful evening under the picnic lights while enjoying the sounds of the ocean.

Oldest bar and restaurant in Tamarindo. Located right on the beach . The taco trio was the best I’ve had in Costa Rico and the the grill Octopus was cooked perfectly . The staff were very friendly and became friends after spending several days there . The best Pina coladas and sunset views !

Excellent food and good portions. Pricing a bit on the high side so look at the menu before going. Professional service. Great atmosphere as you eat on the beach. Consider going around sunset. The oldest restaurant in Tamarindo and a local’s institution. Glad we went.

Nogui’s was such a great stop while we were in Costa Rica! The ceviche was so fresh and full of flavor — perfectly seasoned and exactly what you want on a warm day. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Of course, we also had to try the chocolate and coffee, and they did not disappoint. Everything felt authentic and locally made, which made the whole experience even better.

Friendly service, great food, and a perfect little place to take a break while exploring. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Came here on back to back nights, once for dinner and once for just a little night cap. We decided to sit outside right on the beach, which I think is the go to move as long as the weather is nice enough. For cocktails we started with some happy hour strawberry daquiris, followed up by a caipirinha and Congo guaro. A little on the stronger side the first night but still delicious cocktails. I also tried their tropical old fashioned which was a fruity take on a classic favorite of mine that I would gladly recommend. My girlfriend got the beef tenderloin casada and I got the Arroz con Pollo, both were excellent Costa Rican classic choices that were so flavorful and great sized portions. We got the creamy jalapeño sauce on the side for the casada, but the meat was so flavorful it didn’t even need it (but it was an excellent dip for fries!). Lastly for dessert wee got the banana split and the pineapple pie, and I was skeptical at first about the pie, but I am so sold, truly one of my favorite pies I’ve had and perfect with vanilla ice cream. Our server was the same woman both nights and she remembered us! She was incredibly sweet and took great care of us, and was part of the reason why we decided to come back.
