This could be a long review and bottom line in every facet of a restaurant and I have owned many this El Camino has it dialed in. Beth B was my waitress we were getting a quick meal because my step father needed to eat as did I and my mom is in hospice with not much time left. Beth was so accommodating and the Chef absolutely nailed it. I am from the area but moved away years ago due to military deployment. My family recommended El Camino and this place is the best I have had and if your in town you gotta try this restaurant family feel small town feel I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Everything was so good. We had a table of 6, and everyone loved the food. Aside from good service and good food, my only notes are… the thin pasta is like angel hair pasta (too thin for me). The lava cake is cold – not molten. It’s one of the best Italian places around.

The restaurant was not comfortable. I was cold, I kept my jacket on the whole time. Others did the same. I ordered chicken pocatta this would have been outstanding but the chef forgot lemon in the sauce, I had a side of angel hair pasta, it was some sort of ribbon pasta that was over cooked. . Food presented well to the eyes amd the chicken was cooked perfectly., if the sauce had lemon flavor that would have been amazing as the food was hot out of the kitchen. Juliana our server did a very good job. Friendly and attentive.

Went there for a nice evening out to have dinner after hearing such great reviews. The waitress that was our server was very nice. The waitress which was serving the large party behind us failed to mention to the group how atrocious their language was and that dropping the F bomb every 20 seconds may be inappropriate due to there being two couples trying to enjoy their meals. Needless to say, we packed our food up and left, we had just received our meals maybe 5 minutes prior. I understand that people may be celebrating a birthday or whatever and having a good time, but when it’s a group of about 15 adults and they appear to be getting overly intoxicated, you may want to move them to the bar rather than take an order for another round of drinks. The food looked great, didn’t eat it. $100 meal down the drain. The waitress waiting on that table should really be ashamed. As we were leaving, a much older couple entered and I wanted to warn them but I left the waitstaff a note on my copy of the receipt explaining why we were leaving and alerted the waitress that a note had been left for her. Really disgusted by that experience being a new resident to the the area, won’t be going back there again.

Went for Lunch today 3/3/26 / 2 of us ,, we’re so disappointed and told waitress!! Great waitress!! The chicken piccata! Absolutely no flavor, sauce was just ok, bland flavorless??? Not the same?? at all?? , but no garlic flavor at all??egg plant not very good either and sauce Blah!! What happened? New cook?Blah! Wow! Egg plant at this time of yr. Is flavor less anyway!! Changing the recipe around!!Bland Bland! Will not be going back, for awhile!!! Very disappointed!

My husband and I typically love this restaurant and is out go to for Italian food. But last night was absolutely horrible.
My husband ordered veal parm and cheese ravioli. The veal was overcooked and rubbery. He switched his cheese ravioli for beef ravioli before our food came out because several tables in our area had complained about the cheese ravioli having a funky taste and was not eatable.
I ordered the veal piccata. If you like pure butter all over your food you might have liked it.
The salads had SO dressing on them that they were also not eatable. There was more dressing the lettuce.
Unfortunately it will be a while before we go back. Hopefully whoever was the cook last night learns the recipes.

Had a family gathering here and was pleasantly surprised by the food and by the attentiveness of our waitress. I had the chicken parm with ravioli. Quite a large portion of perfectly fried chicken breasts.

We have been ordering here for 37 years. We got take out last night, same things we’ve always ordered. Chicken parm, gnocchi and cheese ravioli. NOT the same, absolutely disgusting. Threw the ravioli away, not even edible. Gnocchi were much smaller and watery. Chicken overcooked. It wasn’t cheap either. Will have to find a different place when we want Italian food.

I have been going for around 30+ years and always look forward to a meal. Everything is fresh and delicious. Service can be a little slow, but that is because they are making your food and not just reheating it.
Best recommendation: Chicken Picata
It is a chicken breast pounded thin and lightly battered and fried served with a lemon, butter, garlic sauce. It is rich and delicious.
