First time to try Shawarma House in Westland and the food was tasty. We ordered some shawarma meals with rice, salad and lentil soup, and a beef kofta with fries and salad. Everything was good and tasty especially the kofta and hummus were done perfectly well. 5 stars well deserved.

I absolutely love this place! When I used to work in Westland, I would stop by 3–4 times a month just to grab some food. I don’t work in the area anymore, but whenever I’m nearby, I make it a point to stop in for a falafel sandwich. No one…and I mean no one…makes it like they do. I’ve tried so many Shawarma spots in the Eastpointe, Redford, Ferndale and Detroit area.
The staff is always so friendly, and the place is consistently clean. Every time I order, the food is hot, fresh, and delicious. Businesses like this are hard to find these days. If you’re thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s worth every bite and every trip!

Tried Shawarma House in Westland, and it was amazing! Definitely a takeout spot, and it looks like they’re in the middle of a remodel, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The staff was friendly, and the food came out super fast. Had the hummus and chicken dinner—the chicken was tender, the rice was excellent, and the house salad was spot on. Also got the spinach pies, which were incredible! My girlfriend and I split everything, and it was more than enough for two. Highly recommend!

Carry out does not do any justice to eating inside sitting down.

Came here during Covid the first time and have come back half a dozen times now. Shawarma’s….beef and chicken big and inexpensive comparable to other places. Monday has a cheap price on them.
Did I mention the owner was very humble. Main reason why I keep coming back.

After coming to the USA, I tried shawarma for the first time and surprisingly, I really liked it. The flavors are different from what I was used to, but the mix of spices, tender meat, and garlic sauce grew on me quickly. It’s become one of my go-to meals now. I usually get it from a local spot where the atmosphere is also quite nice—clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and they prepare everything fresh, which I appreciate. The place isn’t too loud, making it comfortable to sit and enjoy the food. I didn’t expect to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine this much, but shawarma definitely changed my mind. It’s flavorful, filling, and feels like a good comfort food option. I’d recommend anyone new to it to give it a try—you might be surprised like I was. It’s now a regular part of my meals here in the U.S.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience here. I was served an entree with meat that was clearly stale and had to be sent back immediately. To make matters worse, the dining area had a persistent, foul odor reminiscent of open drainage. Between the quality of the food and the lack of basic sanitation, I cannot recommend this establishment. Avoid at all costs.
Response to the owner below– Absolutely it is Shawarma house on Wayne road and close to Joy. The meat was clearly rotten which made me sick. Will never come back and will not recommend to others.
