The Giordano’s South Pulaski restaurant always provides great customer service and good food every time that I visit!
I had some boneless chicken wings as an appetizer. As well as the restaurant’s famous deep dish pizza (with green peppers and Italian beef as toppings) as the main dish. Both meals tasted (and looked) great.
The decorations and vibes of the place provides an elevated and historic Chicago feel. I love learning about the city’s history through the restaurant’s antique posters, advertisements, and photos.
Overall, Giordano’s provides a great dining experience. Making it a great place to enjoy a special occasion or just to have a causal night out with some delicious pizza 🙂

I went for my daughter’s birthday she made 7. The customer service was a 5….the food was great as usual. But the restaurant had stuff all on there floor. No one was there so idk why no one cleaned the floors. As a restaurant you have to look nice & smell good. Even the first table they tried to give me was dirty, I looked at her stupidly. Please hire a housekeeper.

The food and drink was great. Doesn’t seem busy it was calm. The waitress was terrible she disappeared and came back later. Unlike other waitresses they bounce around several time for their customers I had to ask one of the girls to get my waitress to refill my soda. My liquor arrive after I finish eating my pizza that should be arriving from the beginning not at the end. I wanted tip her good to appreciate her for working on Valentine’s Day but she just ruin my night.

We decided to try this location. We ordered one appetizer (calamari and more), one deep dish (meat and more meat), and one Chicago tavern style (chicken pesto). The deep dish has pepperoni, sausage, salami, and bacon. The Chicago tavern style has chicken, pesto, and tomatoes. The calamari and more appetizer was decent but I’m not sure it was worth $14. For the price, they could have given us more. The deep dish was pretty good if you like these kinds of pizzas. The crust was flaky and required little chew. The main part is very cheesy and they do not skimp on the meat. The Chicago tavern style was very crispy and that pesto sauce gives it a herby and garlicky taste. Pesto pairs well with the chicken and tomatoes. The service was average. I would have liked our server to be more attentive like fill our glasses of water without us saying anything. Overall, it’s a 4 out of 5 for me.

I placed a delivery order for a pizza and tiramisu. We order from Giordano’s all the time. Unfortunately, the pizza was made incorrectly and arrived cold, and the tiramisu did not seem fresh. I contacted the store and spoke with Steve, the manager, to explain the situation.
I was told the only option was a credit for the tiramisu, and that I would need to drive the pizza back to the store—even though I paid for delivery—in order to receive a credit or have a replacement made. I explained that I didn’t feel it was reasonable to drive back for an order that was prepared incorrectly and delivered cold, but I was told that was not his problem.
When I asked for a corporate contact, I was given a number that did not reach corporate. I was also told a district manager would contact me on Monday, but no name or contact information was provided.
I was disappointed by how this situation was handled. Mistakes happen, but the response and lack of accountability made this experience frustrating. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer service.

We just got a quick bite in here to get a personal deep dish and some tiramisu. Wait time was 20ish minutes and the waitress was very patient and kind. The crust was amazing and the tiramisu was not too sweet for two people. Decorations and vibes were nice, the spinning door at the entrance is a fun little addition

Haven’t had Giordanos in a while and it did not disappoint. Hot fresh pizza… the deep dish was cooked perfectly as well as the cheese thin crust ,very cheesy. The wings were nice sized ,hot and saucy just perfect. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Came in 4 pm and there was no wait , would definitely recommend and come back

On 4/18/2024, I meant to write this sooner but work has kept me busy. Here’s what happened: I received my appetizer before my soda, and the service was painfully slow. Midway through my chicken parm with a side salad, I discovered a bug in my food after having already eaten an appetizer. Disgusted, I requested to speak with the manager, but they repeatedly sent the server instead. Only after insisting did the manager reluctantly offer to deduct $5 from the bill without addressing the issue. It wasn’t a common fly; I was indoors and shocked by what I found. I took my family out to treat them, not for this experience. As a manager myself, I know listening to guests is crucial; I would have offered a replacement dish or removed it from the bill. I needed to share this to warn others: always inspect your food before eating—I’m grateful I did before consuming it.

Where do I start, first the pizza was burnt extremely burnt the thing looked like it was cooking in the oven for hours we couldn’t even bite it without hurting our teeth and the service was terrible when we went to see if we could possibly switch the pizza for another one they said no and they said that’s how it’s supposed to be mind you the side by side comparison is way different, and we couldn’t even afford to buy another one which is the worst part so my family couldn’t have pizza on pizza Friday.
