I love how knowledgeable and accommodating they are for people with gluten allergies and Celiac disease, the staff was friendly and the food was a must try!
We split the chicken Alfredo and the vodka rigatoni and it was hard to pick which one was better. I loved the richness of the alfredo but the vodka red sauce boasted so much flavor and depth. We will 100%be back!
This place is also in prestine condition, very well kept and very clean, deep and restored wood floors, and a unique atmosphere that you’ll want to experience
I had the Sausage and Rigatoni, and the red sauce was thick, rich, and full of flavor (a little spice would’ve taken it over the top, but still excellent). The highlight, though, was the lemon cake—absolutely killer. Do not leave without trying it!
A wonderful local spot in Crown Point that I’ll definitely be back to.
The short ribs are by far the best I’ve ever had.
Our entrées were excellent, as expected. Unfortunately, the calamari appetizer was not. It lacked any seasoning whatsoever—no salt, no flavor—clearly an oversight in the kitchen. We ate only a few pieces and sent the rest back.
We didn’t ask for a discount, but given that the dish was largely untouched and returned due to a clear quality issue, we reasonably assumed it would be comped or at least adjusted. It was not. No apology beyond taking it away, and no accommodation on the bill.
I chose not to make a scene because Lucrezia has earned years of goodwill from us. Still, when a restaurant of this caliber misses the mark, how it’s handled matters just as much as the food itself—and tonight, that part fell short.
We will likely return, but this experience was disappointing and out of character for a place we’ve long trusted and recommended. I would challenge you NOT to get the calamari!
The customer service adds to the experience rather than distracting from it. Staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels personal instead of transactional. You’re not rushed, but you’re never forgotten either—a balance that’s hard to get right and one Lucrezia handles well.
The ambience is beautiful and inviting, with a cozy charm that draws you in. At times, the space borders on being a bit tight, with minimal elbow room, especially during busy hours, but this closeness oddly enhances the experience. Dining here with family feels intimate, like gathering around a small table in an Italian home. The gentle hum of conversation, the shared plates, and the warmth of the space combine to transport you—if only briefly—to that comforting feeling of being somewhere familiar, somewhere distinctly Italian.
