Food was great, I got the grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms and Swiss and it was perfect. The bf said the onion rings were his favorite. The mini golf was fun, I recommend the one by the driving range for older ages. The animals seemed well taken care of and were very cute. Lots of goats and talking birds. Overall great experience!

This was our first visit. We weren’t disappointed. The decor is a great nod to the region.
We both had the fish and it was very good. Loved having a small salad bar to go with the meal. The baked potato was perfect. It was cooked so well that I could scoop all the insides out of the skin!
Staff was very friendly. The also have a bakery in the restaurant.

Food was great. Stopped for breakfast and dinner. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Gift store is a fun little place to browse. The animal area is fun for the kids to see many different kinds of critters. Parking was easy to find. Meal prices were a bit high but that’s to be expected in a rural area. Will definitely come back each year I come back camping.

Went there 6-27-25 for dinner with family.
There were six of us. We all had the buffet which was quite good. Salad bar was extremely fresh with a good variety of prepared salads . Fried fish was battered there and not some frozen/battered . Shrimp were frozen/battered but good. I did not try the roasted chicken but others commented how good it was . Loved all the fresh vegetables . Hush puppies were good also . I liked how they had both tartar sauce and cocktail sauce, again homemade and not out of a bottle. I purchased two peach turn overs to take home. I ate one this morning and it was incredible . Only my second time eating there . Will definitely be going back again
Pricing is very reasonable and food will not disappoint.

This is a must stop if you’re traveling in or through the area! The zoo is awesome, with tons of different animals like a zebra, leopard, bears, anteaters and so much more! The gift shop has tons of cool items to purchase. A great place to take the kids, there’s also ice cream and food! I’m so glad we stopped here while traveling through the state!

Since COVID most buffets disappeared,‘the few left I’ve found serve largely institutional grade food. Not here, it’s wonderful to find a place where everything is genuine home made. I camp @ Cook’s or Clear creek about once a year and always make a point to dine here. Over the years I’ve had Breakfast,lunch and dinner and all were quality food, kind service and very pleasant atmosphere. I always recommend to anyone who visits the area. Lucky those who live nearby, it’s a rare gem and getting harder every year to find such places.

Went with family to this beautiful place to eat. Was not disappointed one bit! I ordered the fish and chips, relatives ordered the round shrimp platter and the ham steak with mashed taters and gravy My gf ordered the Philly chipped beef sandwich!
My fish was piping hot and crispy on the outside without being tough or too hard of a crunch.. just perfect. And the fish itself tasted clean and fresh. Fish was cooked perfectly and flaked off easily with little effort. Not greasy either! Absolutely perfect ..I was never a fan of tarter sauce and I always eat fish n chips with malted vinegar- asked for malt vinegar and was just in heaven!:) tbh the fish was soo good by itself it really didn’t need any sauce or vinegar. I just am a malt vinegar fiend soooooo… lol
I got a side of Coleslaw and I never get excited over coleslaw, but this coleslaw was just amazing. Very fresh and was definitely made with love! My entire dinner was just soo outstanding!!

The waitress and host were sweet and friendly and very helpful and paid attention us! Very professional also!

We were there yesterday for the first time. We arrived for dinner, Madison was a great waitress she checked on us brought us everything we needed. I asked her what dessert was her favorite, and I’m so glad I took her word on the strawberry shortcake. It had so many strawberries my absolute favorite. We both had the weekend buffet my only suggestion would be to have extra chocolate chip cookies they were out before 7pm. It was Father’s Day weekend, and I’m sure they are everyone’s favorite.
