Some of the best sandwiches and ice cream, around!!! The entire staff are some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet! Homely and peaceful atmosphere, with that good ‘ole country hospitality, just like being at Grandma’s.

I come here too often, mainly for the soft serve. Usually the quality is good, the people are friendly, and they provide generous portions which helps to justify the relatively steep prices for the area. As of late, however, the quality and portions have been all over the place. A cone of softserve for $7 should not be grainy, and the size should not vary considerably depending on if a trainee or someone else prepares it. Wish I could count on this place like I used to.

A yummy old fashioned ice cream shop. Soft serve + Hershey’s ice cream + for a bit more, home churned South Mountain Creamery options. They even offer two non dairy flavors. Cones, cups, shakes – all tasting of sweet summer goodness. They also offer sandwiches. Plenty of outside seating for the warm summer nights. Limited indoor seating.

This is a must-visit place! In the Summer months, their hand-dipped ice cream selection never disappoints and their soft serve is my favorite – especially the weekly flavors made with real ingredients (berries, fruit, etc.). Even in the cooler months, stopping for a cup of baked potato soup is just the right flavor to keep you warm and filled. And the sandwich selection is great. Anytime I’m passing through the area, I always stop in for a treat or snack. Plus, the portion size is great (the ice cream in the picture is a medium-sized soft serve)

Huge serving size. My kids said the ice cream was creamy and delicious with big chunks. I even got passed a free cone from a nice older lady in the cafe. Great experience!

Love this place! I live in Texas and am an avid Blue Bell lover, and usually do not like other ice cream as much. But this ice cream was SO yummy! I got the peanut butter pie and cookies and cream and WOW! Both were delicious but the peanut butter pie is a must try! I wish we had one of these back home, I hope to make it back here some day!
The place was also very clean, service was friendly and I really appreciated being able to sample some flavors. Everything was quick and easy, 10/10!

I was headed to the chain across the street but the adorable place caught my eye and I’m so glad that it did! I got the Mediterranean sandwich, which was so delicious that I went back to get another for me and one for my sister. Everyone was delightful, kind, and eager to help. Service was quick and the area is full of seating. I especially liked the walk-up window and ease that came with it. Definitely glad I chose to come here!
