Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

great service and great food!
Amy took my order in the front and was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had some questions about some of the items on the menu but Amy helped me out with that. The lobby wasn’t packed but it wasnt empty either and it seemed like everyone was getting their food out in a timely manner, as we did. I dont usually get off at the other whataburgers i go to but this is the one ill actually sit down and eat at. Also their new drink Frosted Berry something with the cream on top is DELICIOUS!

I’m SO SICK OF EL PASO BUSINESSES BENDING RULES FOR PROFIT. DOES THIS LOOK LIKE TEXAS TOAST TO YOU? This was already a replacement meal from them not giving me extra bacon on my burger and giving me the wrong flavored shakes. Y’all have no right to be switching and changing breads when you don’t know anyone’s allergies. Using regular table bread instead of Texas bread??! THE SANDWICH is already expensive as it is, give people what they pay for!!!!

Always a must stop whenever in the mood for a great green chili burger and they’re available… Other than that, you cannot beat a Whataburger with cheese and spicy ketchup for fries. Great Texas comfort food!

Cool hamburger place! This is my first time trying Whataburger, ever! This is the first thing my friend took us to after leaving the airport around 7 pm on a Tuesday night.
We didn’t come inside, we used the drive-thru and according to their sign, it is open 24 hours a day!
I asked for a #5 combo (Bacon and cheese Whataburger) and my wife had their grilled chicken sandwich. We did enjoyed their food. Very good flavors, and they had this Spicy Ketchup, which I have never heard of in California. My wife liked it, I don’t do spicy.
The drive-thru was a quick service. Also, there was not many cars in front or after us. About three cars total during our time ordering and leaving.
The place seemed clean from the outside, the drive was well maintained also!

I’ll put it like this. If you remotely had the inkling to go to the Sunland Cromo location after their horrible remodel, you might as well wipe that idea from your head and come here. This Whataburger is the OG with classic vibe and unlike Cromo, they DON’T skimp out on your food when your order mobile. Great moves, keep it up!

My family and I went today to this whataburger, all though my meal was not ordered correctly by my daughter ( she forgot to add cheese ). The manager Mitzy was very professional and courteous. Even though it was our mistake she still wanted to make it right and offered a free meal.

Food is good. Expect drive thru to ask you to move your car forward, bring you your food then rush away before you realize your order is wrong. Then your stuck honking trying to get their attention but you don’t so you’ll either have to get off your car to get your order fixed or just leave and deal with your wrong order…

I haven’t had Whataburger in years, and this was my first stop after getting back to El Paso. Green chili double with fries and a vanilla shake. They knocked it out of the park, like they usually do!
