This is an abomination. $7 quesadilla that’s only a tortilla! $9 nachos with only half a scoop of cold meat. $8 burrito that’s mostly just tortilla with a sprinkle of meat and cheese, nothing else. Don’t even get me started on the tacos that had NO meat. Literally only lettuce and cheese. I was so mad I just threw everything out. This Taco Bell is the absolute worst and none of the employees even care. They’re rude and act like we’re wasting their time when we order. Just disrespectful

30 minutes in the drive through (not a busy night) I ordered a flatbread melt (cold) a 12 pack of cinnamon bites. And a grilled cheese burrito with no sour cream. The cinnamon bites were smushed and busted. The flatbread melt was everything but a melt. Not even the fake cheese was melted. And the grilled cheese burrito had sour cream. While waiting 30 min at the drive through window, the girl was picking her nose the entire time. Don’t go here unless you want raw food and cooked boogers.

They got my order wrong, replaced it, but it was still wrong. Could’ve been worse. We ended up with more food than we ordered but it was all good and they gave us a free drink.

Absolutely the worst Taco Bell experience I’ve ever had. The staff was unbelievably rude, acting like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason they’re there. After waiting way too long, the food never even came, and when something finally did show up, it was stone cold. No apology, no explanation, no effort to fix anything. Total chaos, zero accountability, and terrible service from start to finish. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

I usually do my best to keep an open mind and try to understand where people are coming from. As I walked in to place a togo order, there was a couple in front of me waiting to also give their order. Noone gave them the time of day, until an older gentleman barked, there is a computer behind you, use that, and then just disappeared. Okay, wait. Yes, many restaurants are going to self order, yet you are standing behind the register. Take the orders. We as a society have lost the art of customer service and representation. I dont want to interact with a screen 24/7. This is part of what is wrong with today’s social interactions. We are becoming robotic. We all place our orders, and like a robotic assembly line, orders get handed out with names barked out. Yet, I lacked the sauces I had added on the order screen, and no napkins. I asked, and was told they are all over there somewhere. Again, service minded people need to be in customer service jobs. Noone looked happy to be there working. And it made sense why, at dinner time, on a Saturday, there were only 2 tables occupied. Relying on technology to keep your fast food joint open, with individuals with zero social skills or enthusiasm, is not going to be a bright future.

The worst Taco bell experience ever and the service was very disappointing. We paid extra for chicken and didn’t receive it, and despite ordering large fries, we were given small fries. We also had to wait 45 minutes, which is unacceptable for a fast-food place. The employees were not customer-friendly and appeared unprofessional. Seeing staff chewing while working was uncomfortable. Overall, a frustrating experience and not worth the wait.

Tonight at the Key West Taco Bell, time did not merely pass — it rotted.

My family and I sat down at 9:00 PM, hopeful, foolish, hungry. Five families total in the restaurant. Two cars in the drive-thru. A setup so calm it should’ve been efficient. Instead, we entered a 45-minute purgatory where nothing moved except our patience slipping away.

At 9:45, the food finally arrived — or rather, some of it did. An entire meal missing. Tacos vanished into the void. When we politely asked where the rest of our order was, we weren’t met with an apology, or even confusion. No. We were met with accusation. As if, after waiting nearly an hour for fast food, we had decided to steal our own dinner for sport.

The food itself? Stone cold. Not “a little cool.” Not “needs a reheat.” Cold like it had given up on life. One item was theatrically reheated in a pan — not remade, not corrected — just resurrected like leftovers from a crime scene. Nothing fresh. Nothing fast. Nothing acceptable.

This wasn’t Taco Bell — it was a slow-motion insult wrapped in tortillas.
A place where accountability goes to die, and customer service takes the night off.

If you value your time, your dignity, or the basic assumption that you won’t be accused of theft for asking for what you paid for — eat literally anywhere else. Even the seagulls outside seemed better organized.

Key West deserves better.
This Taco Bell should be ashamed.

I came through around 7:20 as a huge rush was happening. The young man at the window was so personable and honestly gave the best service I have ever received at any drive through anywhere. I didn’t catch his name, but he’s a teen with dark wavy hair. Everyone in town seems to know who I’m talking about (because I’ve raved about him on Facebook) so I’m sure management does as well. He was such a delight that I sent a message to corporate as well. Thanks for the smile, kid.

The man who takes the orders is absolutely amazing at his job! Because of him I give this Taco Bell a 5 stars. We all know Taco Bell is not 5 stars, but his service deserves respect on his name.
