From start to finish, it was the most disappointing Korean BBQ I’ve had. Banchan was minimal and flavorless. The kimchi was bitter, maybe over aged? There was no fish cake, which seems like a staple banchan. Sundubu jjigae tasted like minestrone, very tomato-y with firm tofu, japchae was plain glass noodles with raw-tasting vegetables. The Korean fried chicken seemed like it was from the freezer with sauce drizzled on. Even the kimchi fried rice was a flop.
The meat was no better. Beef bulgogi was thick and chewy, samgyupsal came as one thick unscored slab. Apparently you have to pay $20 extra per person for the cuts other places serve as standard.
Poor quality, bland flavors, and not worth the price.
Pretty upset about the explanation of prices and menu set up.****
***I would have just appreciated a clear written and verbal communication of a set price on meal. We asked repeatedly if it was $20.99 per person (we obviously were not clearly understanding it was actually $30.99 all day plus $20 per person) because we were shocked about how cheap it was. The server rushed and was like “yea yea yea yea all the protein you want until you’re full”. I don’t think consumers would have an issue with paying $50 for the experience. Just be clear. No need for corporate tricks.

Got in Fri afternoon, right before lunch service is over. Server was attentive, constantly checking on us and asking if everything was ok and if we needed to order more items.
It was our first time so not really sure what to order, the grill doesn’t cook as fast as we’d like so we ate the banchan and salad which are no no when you do AYCE cuz they fill you up!
Next time, I’d definitely start with seafood (cooks faster on grill) and other cooked items so we don’t get tempted eating the sides.
The Korean fried chicken was superb – loved the crunchiness and sauce. The jap chae was very flavorful too. Beef bulgogi was good as well. Disappointed with the pork belly, Cajun chicken and Cajun shrimp, felt a little bland for my taste.
Wish we have more space in tummy to try all items, we’ll be back!
Price is definitely on the higher end but they do have a lot of options and no attitudes from servers when you constantly order more items 😀
There are fine prints on the menu: limit 2 hours. We were done, as in completely stuffed by the end of first hour. And there is a fine of $5 for unfinished / wasted food.
