The DipCo, as it’s fondly known to locals, is a perfect spot for city dwellers, downtown employees, Central Market shoppers and Fulton Theater goers. Our value priced menu is appealing to both locals & tourists alike. Since 1978, the consistency of quality and service has been well known. In September 2017, tragedy struck The Dispensing Company. A devastating fire destroyed not only the entire restaurant but all of the office space in the floors above. An exhausting and comprehensive rebuild prompted the closing of the restaurant for an entire year. The extensive upgrades and current look of the interior is a result of many months of painstaking restoration. Forty-six years of proudly serving the local community and here’s to many more!

Intimate tap room in a historic building serving craft beers & pub grub amid weekly live music.

We have been here many times years ago and always enjoyed it. Today, we had the best lunch. The food was delicious! I had the chef’s salad with Bleu cheese and my husband had a pastrami club sandwich. Portions were generous and the menu is reasonably priced. I’m looking forward to returning.

No need to fly to London. Authentic pub atmosphere right here in Lancaster PA. Food selections amazing and very reasonably priced. Draught beer selections a bit limited but adequate. Enjoyed a very warm experience on a cold Winter’s day.

We have been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. We had the Veggie Muffin Melt and the LDC veggie sandwich tonight. But you can’t go wrong with anything. Often we get the soup of the day and a beer.

Tremendous amountous hangout, a virtual time machine looks exactly like it did in the 1980’s. Super competent and finally wait staff. The bar food is totally acceptable

A downtown icon. ITS OPEN SUNDAY and has a huge menu with something for everyone. Affordable, great drinks and good vibes. Very specific shoutout to the “basket of pretzels” side: perfect addition to beer and very good value.

We were in the area for a concert and LDC had the most variety on their menu and it was within walking distance from the convention center. It turned out to be such a cute, quaint, and cozy restaurant. It was busy but the waitresses were on top of everything. Food was absolutely amazing. We had an Italian hoagie, toasted with some wings. Their bourbon glaze was incredible. Waffle fries were made to perfection. Honestly, everything was so good. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely visit if we ever come back!

we enjoyed our meal and time here. we went a bit earlier for dinner since we were all super hungry – so we were able to pick any table to sit at, which was nice. by the time we were leaving, the place was packed! they have a beautiful atmosphere – especially the bar! our waitress was so helpful and attentive, which made our experience really nice since the food was just ok. nothing fancy, just typical American pub fare.

Wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere nestled in the downtown Lancaster area. We went to dinner here before seeing a show at the Fulton Theatre, which is only a block away. We arrived at 5:30 PM on a Friday evening and we were seated right away. It did get busy after 6 PM.

The food was delicious, especially the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. I also enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my brie open face sandwich. The fruit was very fresh and the sandwich was good as well. If I would try this sandwich again, I would ask for some type of topping to go with it though. I felt it was a little on the dry side and I usually like a honey drizzle or some other type of sauce with my brie.

The staff was extremely friendly, and overall it was a great experience. They have so many options on the menu that I can’t wait to go back and try something new.

Food was amazing! Wings were crispy and flavorful. Crab cakes were perfectly cooked and didn’t seem to have filler. Cajun chicken salad was fresh and yummy. Strongly recommend if you are in the area to check this place out.

This was my first time visiting, and I had an amazing time! The food was absolutely fantastic — we had an order of mango Old Bay wings to start, then a blackened catfish sandwich and their signature LDC burger, which seems like a terrific cross between a traditional burger and a Reuben. The crinkle fries were wonderfully cooked and seasoned, and the coleslaw was terrific. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the beer selection is excellent, and our server, Sarah, was absolutely wonderful. In fact, she made the whole visit fun and enjoyable, as did her coworkers. Thank you!
