I was banned for life from here several years ago (2019). The bartender cut me off without telling me why, I guess drinking 5 of the large beers in 15 minutes is “un cool.” When I nicely asked for my next beer I was brought my check instead. I asked if I had done something wrong and was completely ignored. (For context only, I was not being belligerent, I was answering work emails on my phone.) I think it was the volume of beer and time it took to drink which led to my tragic downfall. The manager came over and asked me how I wanted to pay, when I said I just wanted another beer, I was asked again “How do you want to pay?” At this point I may have made some regrettable comments as I was slightly frustrated and lezzzzz be honest I was slighly feeling it. However Before the Deputy of day drinking ruined my vibe and told me not to return…. I felt the beer was cold and delicious, food was okay. Management, although quite angry and loud treated me fairly as I was removed from my barstool, assisted to the exit, and told something along the lines of “You’re banned!!!!” I LEFT without further incident and walked across the busy intersection to Chilis. Chilies fed me copious amounts of beer, chips and salsa, and a random corn on the cob I dont recall ordering. But it was delicious either way! A few months later after a few beers in the Atrium hotel bar I decided to return to the Hutchinson Applebees, hoping they had changed their ways and their poor attitudes. It didnt take long to be recognized by the No FUN Allowed bartender who immediately informed the on duty manager of my presence. Words were exchanged and threats made. (By them not me.) Howevsr they were kind enough not to call the cops and have me trespassed. I removed myself from the premises as I was told mean things like ” You’re not allowed in here.” Although I was blacklisted from “eating good in the neighborhood” I felt overall The second time I was asked to leave was just as good as the first! Overall 4/5 stars, would totally get banned from again!!

Only three stars for the helpfulness of the staff. Your staff is good we had a new hire and she was awesome! However the food is hit or miss every time. My salmon was seasoned so strong I couldn’t finish it (my husband often complains about the seasoning as well. but I loved the cheesy broccoli. And the atmosphere is just fun. DONT DRINK the WATER depending on which faucet they use it may taste horribly chlorinated. Bathrooms are very clean and not icy cold! And you usually can’t go wrong with dessert!

Fun and friendly place, lots of amazing staff! The management is top of their game, and the servers seem to care more about the customers than most places. Love it and thank you for the great experience!!! I had the bourbon shrimp and andouille sausage penne and it was sooooo good

10/10/2020 Well, we will not be back until the mask requirement goes away. However, the food and service was good. 9/21/2019 These were the best sweet potato fries I have ever eaten! 2017 The Thai salad was good. However, it took almost 30 minutes to get cheese fries and a salad.

Food took forever to get, wings were not very sausy Salmon was dry mac&cheese very bland. Bathroom was opened then closed when the whole time it was just one stall down so I sat in pain the whole time not able to eat much or enjoy my time with my family. Asked for a manager and never once did we get one. Very poor experience.

We had a terrible experience here today. Service was slow and not good at all. Food was mediocre, chicken strips were hard as a rock, asked for a side of ranch to dunk them in to soften them up but after 15 min, never brought so found the waitress at the bar and asked for it again. She never came and asked us how things were or if we wanted water refills. I had the blacke ed chicken with shrimp and rhe chickem was way over done, mayne 3 pieces of shrimp on the plate. The people sitting in the booth a couple away from us told her when she finally came to their table that the shrimp were frozen on the inside, gross! Music is way too loud in here, can’t hardly talk over it. Don’t waste your money!

How can I express my experience with my Local Applebee’s in such a short statement: Delicious, tasty, wow? Everyone has their own experience and standard; however, I learned by keeping average expectations, my servers and bartenders rise to the occasion. My bartender, Brooke, kept my beer flowing, and the cook did and amazing job cooking my steak to my specific order. I find it very hard to come by a individual that truly knows how to prepare a steak medium rare, but somehow this person, of all places, managed to do just that. Also, best Coors Light on tap in town. Bonus, best cook for steak in town. Will return.
