This is one of the cleanest Popeyes in the Baltimore area I’ve been in. I waited over 30 minutes for my food which was ok(if I were in a rush, this rating would be totally different) I just got off work and wanted to bring dinner home and they gave me a few extra chicken to make up for the time. I am choosing not to give them 1 star because they had 1 cook and was very apologetic about the delay. But nevertheless, they did take a very long time leading to 4/5 review.

Cashier today got very nasty when I said “hello” on the drive through speaker as I sat there and heard talking but couldn’t make it out waiting to order. The tone she used when she said “I’m not talking to you I’m talking to my manager” and almost threw the bag out the window at me when I pulled around even the person I was on the phone with said “What’s her problem? She was nasty and rude.”

I Love Popeyes food and what I ordered was perfect! I used the app to place my order for pick up… I was hoping this would be a quick stop. The drive thru wrapped around the restaurant, so, I decided to go in. The restaurant was clean (I did not visit the restroom)… 1 person was placing an order. I was next in line…service was very slow! The young man taking the order may have been new. He was kind and polite… he did not know much about the new “hot” items, he was very slow and he had to go over the order several times; while taking the order and again when filling the order. The process did not change when it was my turn. I used the app, checked off every item I wanted… my code was entered in, but, I still had to give my order… while my order was being filled I had to again go over part of the irder that I now placed twice…the previous customer came up because he was missing the sauce that he asked for and his drink. Finally, I received my order…everything seemed to be there and looked good…all except my sweet tea. Finally, finally I grabbed my tea and went on my way. I Love the food, so, I will return… BUT ONLY… if I’m not in a HURRY!!

20 mins for a simple meal is insane. Some people have places to be, things to do. Its called fast food for a reason. On top of that I ordered on the app 10 minutes before even coming. Waste of time and money.

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and the new roja sandwich at 9:19 (so sayeth the receipt). They had to make more chicken so they told me to wait 6 – 8 minutes. I scrolled on my phone for TWENTY minutes before I noticed how long it had been. Backed my car up to the window to ask what’s up. Got my sandwiches 5 minutes later. I’m betting they forgot about me. The roja sandwich didn’t have bacon or cheese on it like I paid for, but it was basically the quality I expected. The regular spicy chicken sandwich was literally inedible. The chicken was tough and chewy and I couldn’t bite through it. The buns were also extra soggy and unpleasant.
I’ve worked in fast food, and I always offer the customer a free drink or something when I accidentally make them wait 25 minutes for their food. The job sucks, I get it. I remember it well. But please do your part to make it feel like we live in a society where people care about each other. I don’t care about being forgotten for 15 minutes, and I don’t care about a sandwich being sub-par (it’s not like they can test the chicken to see if it’s chewy before they hand it to me), but when it’s all said and done I always hope that a little kindness can find it’s way into the botched transaction, and today it definitely did not. I’ll go to the other Popeyes nearby next time if I’m getting a late night meal, cuz the late night team here did me dirty today.

The staff was very pleasant, it took a while to have order taken but once it was taken, food was ready very fast.

Placed a mobile order , used the drive thru for pick-up. That part was smooth the only part that wasn’t, was the piece of plastic in my spicy chicken sandwich. Don’t know what type of stuff is going on in the kitchen but I won’t be returning ever. Glad I always check my food, threw everything away what a waste.

It’s currently 1:53 and there’s no food ready at all they have 4 cars pulled ahead waiting for there food and all I ordered was a combo and I’m waiting aswell honestly this Popeyes needs to be revamped with employees that has something to live for and a will to work
