1. The food was delicious! Tabbouleh was so fresh! Just the right amount of everything! Chicken shawarma plate equally delicious! Lentil soup was insanely good! The garlic sauce was fire! And, I was sooooo pleasantly full I really didn’t think I could eat dessert! I ate a whole baklava and AGAIN it was delicious!
2. Friendliness of everyone there was appreciated! They were very inviting & great with suggestions!
3. The ambiance was sooo welcoming & clean!!! Some music playing was lovely!

One of the best Arabic restaurants I’ve ever tried! The food tastes authentic and truly feels like homemade cooking. The highlight for me was the Mansaf – absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the flavor was on point. Portions are generous, and the service is fast and very friendly.
The place is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere for families. I will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Arabic food

Yesterday me and my bestie had two separate orders. The first one was hers ( مولوخيه ، مسخن و ماندي منسف) it was super delicious everything was on point but the staff had little confusion which my is tots forgiven for cuz their food tastes beyond delicious and perfect . My order which is down below on my pics I got ( مسخن ) and cuz of the stress I had all day and the confusion she mad me mint and lemon smoothie for free . Honestly this place deserves million starts and definitely coming back . The staff are so nice and generous especially the girl that works there and took care of everything and made me relaxed with a drink that’s beyond kind of her and generous . I would rate this restaurant million/10 lol yea I’m talking serious . Much love to this place and the staff .

Everything was amazing, we started with the hummus and both got the chicken shawarma plate. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal. The service was excellent, the girl that helped us was welcoming and kind and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.

We’ve been coming to Petra for years and it never disappoints. The food is always on point. The mansaf is insanely good, full of flavor, and always cooked perfectly. My wife always gets the chicken shawarma and absolutely loves it every single time.
I honestly recommend everyone try the mansaf at least once. It’s amazing and easily one of the best dishes on the menu. If you’re looking for great Mediterranean food in Tampa, Petra is a must. Highly recommend

We love this restaurant. We started with Falafel as appetizer, which was delicious. My husband ordered the Spicy Turkish Kebab and I had the Chicken Shawarma Plate with fries and hummus. Everything was amazing! The portions are huge for the price; we had to take half of our plates to go. We finished with a perfect Turkish coffee. Definitely a place we want to return to.

What a wonderful mediterranean restaurant. Our lovely kind hostess Maryam, recommended Mendi and Molokhia lamb daily specials and both were so tasty!! Lamb were full shanks and meat fell off the bones. Bones had the most sumptuous marrows. Make sure you get their garlic sauce as well, goes really well with the rice. Their prices were very reasonable too.

Service was a little slow because of some large parties there, but the food was excellent. The hummus they make in house and has an added twist of some sauces on top to make it tangy and garlicky. The kebabs were all cooked well and tender. I got the rice to accompany it and some salad. Prices very reasonable too. Very friendly family owned business.

What a lovely dining experience and excellent food. Loved meeting the cook and the wait staff was so professional. We had a chicken shwarma wrap and platter as well as an appetizer sampler. Delicious! We’ll be back!
