We visited Clay Oven for dinner expecting a good vegetarian Indian meal, but the experience was underwhelming. The vegetarian thali was mediocre, and the naan was undercooked, doughy, and unappealing. The curries lacked depth and aroma. The gol gappa was okay, while the masala chai was machine-made and flat. The besan barfi was enjoyable, fresh, and well-textured. Service was polite, but cleanliness was lacking, with a table that wasn’t properly cleaned and a stained water glass. Overall, the restaurant needs improvement in food quality, beverage preparation, and hygiene. It was an average experience.

We normally go here when we’re craving something spicy that also packs a lot of flavour, and have always ordered an item that contains meat. Never a let down!
But for the first time we decided to go full on veg and it was equally as good, and was filling for what you pay.
Also great service when we dine. In this particular instance our Server (Ishanvi) was Amazing! Always had a smile and was very welcoming and pleasant. Lucky to have her serve us! And you’d be too!
Overall would highly recommend it from the food to all the way to the service.

First off, delicious food! I like my food lightly spicy, so our server suggested a medium level, he was correct. My nose would have been running had the food been spicier. Our booth was clean and comfortable. Conversation with staff was pleasant but no distracting. I will be returning and recommend you try it out.

Shruti was our server. Her service was excellent. This was the first time we had Indian foods and she explained to us which was good and how to eat (as there were several dipping sauces and dishes in one round plate).
I like the appetizer Gol Gappe, it was interesting.

Had a wonderful experience at Clay Oven Kenaston yesterday with my daughter. Our server Shruti took such great care of us—she was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
My daughter ordered the chole bhature, which she enjoyed. I was craving South Indian food, and Shruti recommended the masala dosa thali—it turned out to be an excellent choice.
Great food, great service, and a pleasant dining experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!
